Overstaying Migrant Worker Arrested During Vaccination 失聯移工打疫苗被捕 勞動部重申「不查處」

An overstaying foreign worker was arrested during vaccination. In response, Minister of Labor Hsu Ming-chun and the National Immigration Agency reiterated its principles of no report, no investigation, and no charge remain the same.

Legislator (DPP): “Will there be another absconded or overstaying foreign worker who will be arrested next time during the same situation?”

Hsu Ming-chun, Labor Minister: “Legislator, I think after this incident, there shouldn't be another one. I want to make a special note here and stress the government's attitude is we hope all absconded or overstaying foreign workers are able to get vaccinated and protect themselves. Our principle is no report, no investigation and no monetary charge for the vaccines. ”
 

 

民進黨立委賴惠員問勞動部長許銘春：「會不會再有下一個失聯的移工被捕的這個狀況呢？」

許銘春回應，「我想委員，經過這個事件應該不會啦，我想在這裡也要特別說明，政府的態度就是希望我們所有失聯的移工都能夠出來施打疫苗、保護自己，那我們的原則就是不通報、不查處、不收費。」
