蒲亭頭號政敵納瓦尼獄中身亡 聯合國籲進行公開調查

俄羅斯監獄單位16日對外宣布，俄羅斯反對派領袖納瓦尼在獄中身亡，享年47歲。不少俄國民眾聽聞消息，紛紛來到各城市的政治受害者紀念碑獻花哀悼。

葉卡捷琳堡居民表示，「我哭了，太遺憾了，沒有人開心得起來，每個人都很悲傷。」

還有聖彼得堡居民說道，「讓我稍微平靜下來的是，如果他真的死了，他的死會讓支持者，甚至只是喜歡他的人更堅強一點（What calmed me down a bit was a thought that if he really died, his death will make his supporters and even people who just liked him, a tiny bit stronger.）。」

納瓦尼是俄國總統蒲亭的頭號政敵，也是最大眼中釘，2020年8月搭機時遭到毒害，被送往醫院治療。隔年1月他返回俄羅斯，一下機馬上被捕，後來被轉往西伯利亞有「極地狼」之稱的嚴酷監獄服刑。今（2024）年初曝光的畫面，已經看到納瓦尼明顯消瘦，如今在俄國大選前一個月死在獄中，引發各界揣測。

國際特赦組織秘書長卡瑪拉指出，「毫無疑問俄國政府最高層參與這起中毒事件，毫無疑問他們也參與拘留納瓦尼，在他一回來就監禁在俄羅斯，理由非常站不住腳（There is absolutely no doubt that the Russian government at the highest level was involved in the poisoning. There is also no doubt that they were involved in his detention because they imprisoned him the moment he came back, in Russia, on very flimsy reason.）。」

歐美各國領袖紛紛譴責，認為蒲亭應該對此事負責，聯合國則呼籲進行公開調查。

美國總統拜登表示，「報導說他死了，如果此事為真，我沒理由懷疑，俄國當局得自圓其說，但毫無疑問，蒲亭得對納瓦尼之死負責，蒲亭有責任（Reports of his death, if they're true, and I have no reason to believe they're not, Russian authorities are going to tell their own story. But make no mistake. Make no mistake. Putin is responsible for Navalny's death. Putin is responsible.）。」

俄羅斯人權組織表示，全國至少有73人因為參加納瓦尼的守夜活動和集會而被拘留，俄國聯邦監獄管理局則表示，納瓦尼的死因還有待調查。
