Lin Tzu-miao Gets Released on Bail of NT$800,000 林姿妙裁定80萬元交保 林羿伶.康立和請回

Yilan County Magistrate Lin Tzu-miao has been released on a NT$800,000 bail after she was questioned for allegations of corruption and money laundering. 

Reporter: “Magistrate Lin, please explain your case”

Lin Zi-miao, Yilan County Magistrate: “Thank you.”

Yilan County Magistrate Lin Zi-miao came back to Yilan District Prosecutors Office for further questioning after being interrogated by officials from the Agency Against Corruption on the 22nd. Lin remained reticent in response to the media. Lin and other county government officials are under allegations of corruption and money laundering. Prosecutors took in some suspects, including Lin's son and daughter and even former KMT Legislator Yang Chi-hsiung.

Reporter: “Do you have anything to say, Legislator Yang?”

Yang Chi-hsiung, Former KMT legislator: “No.”

Prosecutors suspect that Lin's son Lin Yu-tse, along with former Legislator Yang and his younger brother Yang Yao-huo, had destroyed some evidence after being questioned last month.

Liang Kuang-tsung, Head Prosecutor, Yilan District Prosecutors Office: “Lin Zi-miao's son Lin Yu-tse, Yang Chi-hsiung and Yang Yao-huo are suspected of destroying evidence after being questioned at the office last time. We are investigating on this today.”

The court held a hearing this morning and Lin was released on bail of NT$800,000. Lin's daughter Lin I-ling and the head of Agricultural Department Kang Li-he were also released. Lin Yu-tse, Yang Chi-hsiung and Yang Yao-huo got released on bail of NT$2 million and NT$1.5 million respectively. The head of Finance and Tax Bureau Lu Tien-lung and others were suspected of abusing the use of authority to gain illegal benefits and were released on bail of NT$150,000. More involved were also released.

Liang Kuang-tsung, Head Prosecutor, Yilan District Prosecutors Office: “Defendant Lin Zi-miao, Lin Yu-tse, and others including the head of Yilan's Agricultural Department are suspected of corruption and money laundering for gaining illegal benefits. Lin Zi-miao is also suspected of possession of property with unidentified sources. There is also evidence of collusion and we see a need for detention.”

It's been a month since the investigation case was made public and is still the center of attention. The probe revolves around value-added tax exemptions granted in 2019 for a property in Luodong Township and the township's urban development plans the following year.

結束在廉政署一整天約談，宜蘭縣長林姿妙再度被帶到宜蘭地檢署接受檢方複訊，深陷土地弊案的她，一路沒有多做回應。林姿妙兒女也都涉案，先後送到地檢署，還有多名縣府一級主管通通被帶回偵訊，甚至在這波訊問名單，還出現國民黨前立委楊吉雄。

記者：「委員有什麼話要說嗎？」 國民黨前立委楊吉雄：「沒有。」

楊吉雄向鏡頭揮手致意，他會被約談，是因為檢方發現，林姿妙二兒子林佑澤，上個月被訊問後，立刻找上楊吉雄和他的弟弟楊耀火，涉嫌湮滅證據。

宜蘭地檢署主任檢察官梁光宗說明偵辦進度，指出「林姿妙之子林(佑)澤在離開本署之後，就跟被告楊(吉)雄、楊(耀)火等人，共同涉嫌藏匿本案的證據，今日並就此部分進行調查。」

包括林姿妙及她的女兒林羿伶，以及農業處長康立和，訊後遭到檢方聲押禁見。林佑澤、楊吉雄和楊耀火，分別以涉犯湮滅刑事證據罪嫌，以200萬和150萬交保。至於財稅局局長盧天龍等人，涉犯圖利罪嫌，諭令15萬元交保，其他人則無保請回。

宜蘭地檢署主任檢察官梁光宗表示，「被告林姿妙、林(羿)伶以及縣府農業處康處長等人，涉嫌貪污治罪條例的圖利罪。被告林姿妙另涉財產來源不明罪，均罪嫌重大，有事實足認，有勾串滅證之虞，且有羈押之必要。」

檢方偵辦宜蘭縣府的機關人員，疑涉貪污弊案，和羅東土地免徵增值稅、羅東土地都市計畫變更案，以及疑似財產來源不明等多起案件有關。事隔一個月，檢廉再度大動作搜索約談，這起案件，也讓外界格外關注。
