Causeway Bay Books founder Lam Wing-kee is set to reopen the bookstore in Taiwan on April 25. However, it was reported that someone had thrown red paint on the bookstore's new premises.
Red paint was thrown, and I'm going to report this incident. I'm heading to the police station now to provide an oral statement. It's not like I haven't had run-ins with the Communist Party before. It's very obvious that these people are doing the bidding of the Communist Party.
Traces of red paint can be seen on the floor outside the elevator. There is also red paint on the floor by the entrance. This is the new bookstore that Causeway Bay Books founder Lam Wing-kee will open in Taipei on April 25. The bookstore was vandalized on April 21, and Lam reported the incident to the police. The previous day, he also received a letter from a lawyer informing him that he can't use the name "Causeway Bay Books" as it will infringe on an existing trademark. Lam said he believes the same people are behind both incidents.
