GOLDEN TRUMPET TREES ATTRACT LARGE NUMBER OF VISITORS AND TRAFFIC|花蓮黃金風鈴木 花海盛開吸引遊客

Near Hualien's Provincial Highway 9 from Danong Daufu Forest park to Xingchuan, Golden Trumpet Trees are flowering on both sides of the canals. The sight has attracted large numbers of visitors, but the concomitant vehicles that arrive in have caused problems. Although it is not a holiday, there are many visitors who have come to admire the golden trumpet trees along canals in Hualien's Ruisui Village Xingchuan area. Nice weather also prompts flowers to blossom. ==VISITOR== It's beautiful. Especially with the mountain as the background. Ten years ago these trees were planted by Ruisui Village Agricultural Water Resources Station to improve the appearance of the farming village. After the canals were finished, the trees were planted. To many people's surprise, in recent years they flowered every March and April, and attracted a large number of visitors to the area. However, the large number of vehicles that visitors arrive in, and then park along the edge of the highway, have caused traffic jams. Some visitors have even fallen into the canals, causing worry for local residents. ==HUALIEN RESIDENT== Once it's known to the public, it will attract a lot of visitors. It's more convinient to go in that way becasue it's dangerous parking along the highway. The unit which planted the trees will therefore install ropes and a lifefloat. More importantly, visitors have to watch their step and not get carried away by looking up at the flowers and fall into the canals. TRANSLATED BY：CLARE LEAR 花蓮台九線的興泉水圳，最近水道兩旁的黃金風鈴木正在盛開，黃黃開的很美，每天都吸引不少遊客去賞花，不過大量的人車，也造成問題。 雖然今天不是假日，不過為了欣賞黃金風鈴木，不少遊客還是特地前來花蓮瑞穗鄉的興泉圳來賞黃金風鈴花，走在水道兩旁，抬頭就是黃澄澄的花瓣，對應在綠色的花東縱谷裡，讓人感受春天氣息。 ==導遊 曾先生== 這個花期大概在一個月左右 這個天氣越晴 它的花朵會開得越茂密 ==遊客 古先生== 很漂亮啊 尤其有山在那邊搭配著景 而這裡的黃金風鈴木，是瑞穗鄉農田水利工作站在十多年前，因要美化農村，在水圳工程完工後所栽種，沒想到這幾年每到三月、四月花開之時，就會湧入大批的人潮前來賞花，不但車輛在台九線亂停造成交通堵塞，現場還有人曾跌落水圳，讓在地民眾相當憂心。 ==花蓮民眾 古小姐== 一公佈一定人很多 我就很怕這個變成 金城武第二(池上金城武樹) == 農田水利會瑞穗工作站長 鍾毅龍== 如果要看的話 要繞到那個鄉道去停車 就是直接從富源國中 旁邊那個小路進去 從那個地方進去比較方便 因為現在台九線上這地方很危險 此外，為了遊客安全，水利會瑞穗工作站將會在樹兩旁，架設繩索以及擺放救生圈，最重要的還是請遊客多注意自己腳下，別只顧抬頭賞花，不小心跌落水圳，可是會有性命危險。 記者 溫嘉楷 花蓮報導
