Companies Add Benefits to Government Vouchers|配合政府振興3倍券 業者加碼3千享6倍券

In addition to the government's "Triple Stimulus Vouchers", companies have begun promoting their additional benefits to attract customers. One bank is offering new credit card clients an additional NT$1,000 in cashback, meaning they will receive NT$3,000 back for a charge of NT$3,000. Meanwhile, a travel agency has added NT$3,000 to the total voucher amount, bringing total benefits to NT$6,000.


The Executive Yuan announced "Triple Stimulus Vouchers" on June 2 with the tagline "turn NT$1,000 into NT$3,000." People can get paper vouchers, or load the amounts onto credit cards, digital wallets, or electronic tickets. A bank followed up by announcing that existing credit card clients will receive NT$300 in cashback in addition to the NT$2,000 from the government for a transaction worth over NT$3,000. Early birds will receive additional benefits. New credit card customers can receive NT$1,000 in cashback, so they will receive NT$3,000 back for NT$3,000 spent.

Let's say you pay NT$3,000 using the credit card at a hotel and you meet the requirements for Taishin Bank's early bird benefits. This means that you practically don't have to spend anything to attain related services and collect all these benefits added by the government and Taishin Bank.

Meanwhile, travel agency Lion Travel launched NT$3,000 coupons to add to the government's voucher, giving people NT$6,000 to spend on domestic travel. People only need to place an order via Lion Travel's website before the end of the year to receive the full amount. There are also existing discounts on accommodations, so trips are discounted by 60 to 70 percent. The coupons are usable at 1,000 hotels across Taiwan.

Travelers can receive this NT$3,000 benefit as soon as they place an order. This program is on top of existing 50 to 60 percent discounts. You can end up with discounts of 60 to 70 percent.

Agencies say Taiwan has not had a single case of indigenous COVID-19 for over 50 days, and the number of domestic tour groups and independent travelers has grown sixfold. Tourist numbers to Hualien, Taitung, and Pingtung have increased tenfold. Rooms are already hard to find over the Dragon Boat Festival long weekend and summer vacation. It is expected that rooms will become even harder to find once the Triple Stimulus Vouchers become usable.



一千變三千，振興三倍券7月上路，民眾除了實體券外，還有信用卡、電子支付和電子票證三管道，現在有銀行配合政府振興經濟政策，針對原有客戶只要綁定信用卡刷滿3,000元，除了拿到政府2,000元外，再享300元刷卡回饋，早鳥也有加碼回饋，如果是新申辦的客戶可額外享有1,000元現金回饋，等於刷3,000、拿3,000。

台新銀行副總經理 黃天麟表示：「譬如你在飯店刷個3千塊，又符合台新早鳥的優惠，幾乎是沒有花半毛錢，就可以達到相關的一些服務，也可以領取到所有的這些政府，及台新加碼的這個優惠。」

除了銀行搶推優惠，有旅遊業者也推出加碼優惠券3000元，形同6倍券可以旅行台灣，民眾只要在年底前於雄獅官網訂購，就可以滿額折抵，加上原有住宿優惠，等於折扣下探3到4折起，全台1千家飯店都可適用。

雄獅旅遊副理 王一登表示：「現在的旅客只要下單，馬上就可以取得這樣的3千塊的優惠方案。這次的優惠方案，從原本的折扣價，我們已經做到四到五折的優惠，現在再加上這樣的一個加碼優惠券，你還可以使用到，甚至是折扣到3折到4折之間。」

業者表示，台灣已經連續超過50天本土零確診，國旅團體旅遊和自由行已成長6倍，其中花蓮、台東、屏東甚至有10倍的成長，目前包括端午和暑假旺季都已經一房難求，預期振興券正式上路後訂房會更不容易。
