On December 4, 5 and 6, over 500 youngster between the age 16 and 35 will be asking questions to three presidential candidates. One of the hosting organizations, the Taiwan Youth Association for Democracy, has published 18 questions that will be asked ahead of the forum.

Although many educators are working hard to ensure that the future generation can grow up on a free and equal environment, there are still many teachers and parents who are not familiar with gender equality education.

We will ask the presidential candidates questions about the minimum wages and the transparency of the system.

The youth groups will prepare 18 questions which cover subjects such as gender equality, labor rights, fake news, the indigenous population, climate issues, students' rights among others. Six questions out of the 18 will be drawn and asked during the forum. Towards the end of the forum, all three candidates will face a number of rapid fire fact check questions.

We will report to the public if the candidates deviate from the truth. We will also press on if the candidates don't answer certain questions correctly or avoid certain questions.

The questions have been announced ahead of forum, and the candidates' answers will also be fact-checked. The youth groups have reminded the candidates to present real, concrete solutions to the problems and not try to muddy the water with slogans and numbers.
