Congratulations to Taiwanese badminton player Tai Tzu-ying, she has won another trophy after defeating Indian player Saina Nehwal by 2 to 1 in the final round at the Denmark Open. This is Tai's eight championship of the year, and the latest win makes her the second ever female player in badminton singles to accumulate more than 100,000 points.

Taiwanese badminton player Tai Tzu-ying, who had already won seven championships this year, faced Indian player Saina Nehwal, who currently ranks 10th in the world, at the final round of the 2018 Denmark Open. Tai confused her opponent from the get go with a series of overhead drop shots and maintained a four point lead. At game point, Saina misjudged Tai's serve, which fell within the borders and gave Tai a 21 to 13 win.

However, in the second round, Tai served out of bounds a number times and she was not in her tempo. Saina won the round by 21 to 13 and evened the match. In the final round, Tai used her signature fakes and Saina could not react in time. Tai eventually won the round by a wide margin and bagged the championship.

This is Tai's first ever win at Denmark Open, and also her eighth win in women's singles this year. The 11,000 points that Tai earned in her latest victory helped her break the 100,000-point mark, making her the second ever female player in the exclusive"100,000 Point Club" after Chinese badminton player Li Xuerui.
