DISCREPANCIES IN CRAM SCHOOL TEACHERS' CVS LEADS TO INSPECTIONS|補教實名制上路 台南2師學歷不實限期改善

Two cram school teachers have been found to have tinkered with their registered CVs. One of them, a math teacher, who used to list himself as having a master's degree, now says he only has a bachelor's degree, while the other one, an English teacher, who has been promoted in advertising as having a master's degree in English, actually has a management degree on paper. The national management website for cram school teachers lists their names and educational qualifications. However, members of the public found that a math teacher in Tainan changed their CV three times, including changing from an NCCU master's degree to an undergraduate degree, and then added the letters NTU at the end. Another English language teacher's CV on a DM said they had graduated from Canada's UBC English Master's and NCCU foreign languages department. However, on the national website, they are listed as graduating from NTUST business management. The teachers appeared publicly to explain this and their cram school in Chiayi said that the CV's were not fraudulent, but just not final versions. ==LEE cram school teacher== My final education qualifications are NCCU's practical application of mathematics and an education certificate. On May 26, The Ministry of Education amended laws on cram schools so that they would have to display teachers' real names. Tainan City Government Bureau of Education mobilised staff to check over 6,000 teachers at 1,534 cram schools and cross check that there were no unsuitable teachers. The Bureau of Education said that where the CVs were different, it would send an official document requiring a change to be made or they would be fined. ==YANG MING-DA Div. Chief, Tainan City Govt. The BOE will also check criminal record certificates. There are 805 people who have not produced these and the BOE has required these to be produced before June 9.
