Hong Kong will elect its new leader on May 26th. On Saturday, former Financial Chief John Tsang obtained 160 signatures, or 10 more from the required 150, from the city's 1200 strong election committee, and became the first man to be declared a candidate in the upcoming race. Apart from Tsang, three other potential rivals have all expressed interest in running for the city's top job, but Tsang remains the only one who has officially applied for candidacy.
