HK Lawmaker Walked Out in Protest Upon Hearing "TW Is a Nation" 聞"台灣是國家"關鍵字 葉劉淑儀離席抗議

I'm sorry, I have to leave this forum. Taiwan is not a nation, it is a renegade province of the People's Republic of China.
 

In an online global summit held by a TV station in India, discussing the coronavirus pandemic, a Pro-China legislator from Hong Kong, Regina Ip Lau Suk-yee walked out of the meeting upon hearing former Defense Minister of Taiwan said that Taiwan is a nation. The former Minister of National Defense, Michael Tsai, who is also the honorary chairperson of the Taiwan United Nations Alliance (TAIUNA), represented Taiwan to participate in the summit.
 

In this COVID-19 or you can call it Wuhan virus.
 

The HK lawmaker walked out of the summit and has not returned when the meeting came to an end. She interrupted Tsai's talk again by strongly opposing the use of "Wuhan" virus. Tsai realized that Ip Lau is a pro-China lawmaker and believed that the international community has seen the brutality of the so-called "wolf warrior" diplomacy of China.
 

I was actually not surprised by her rude protest or her walking out the summit.
 

The Republic of China is a sovereign country, this is an indisputabale objective fact. The rudeness of interrupting remarks from Taiwan cannot hide the fact.
 

The Mainland Affairs Council criticized Ip Lau for a lack of democratic literacy. In related news, according to a newest survey by the Mainland Affairs Council, 70 to 80 percent of Taiwanese people are in support of engaging in meaningful dialogues with Beijing under the principle of equal dignity for both parties and normal cross-strait exchanges would gradually resume after the pandemic comes under control. In addition, close to 90 percent of Taiwanese people oppose the "One China, two system" policy while 70 percent think that China is hostile to the Taiwanese Government and its people.
