Presidential Spokesperson Has Been Granted Resignation|府發言人丁允恭陷桃色風暴 請辭獲准

Mired in a sex scandal, Presidential Office spokesperson Ting Yun-kung has tendered his resignation, which has been swiftly approved by President Tsai Ing-wen.

President Tsai Ing-wen turned a deaf ear to the media's questions and left. Former Presidential Office spokesperson Ting Yun-kung has been mired in a sex scandal after his ex-girlfriend revealed details of their relationship to the media. In response, Ting said the report wasn't "100 percent accurate", but he has tendered his resignation, which has been approved by President, as his actions "betrayed the public's expectations."

I recognize his talents and personal efforts in the public sector. It is a shame that this scandal has happened. The damage was done, there is no use to exaggerate his mistakes to the maximum. It's not decent and unnecessary.

Furthermore, Premier Su urged young people to be cautious for their actions. While Ting served as the director of Kaohsiung's Information Bureau, he was praised highly by then Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chu. Ting went on to serve as the deputy spokesperson for the Executive Yuan before taking the post as the spokesperson for the Presidential Office. This time, it was his private life that ruined his career.

In related news, on September 9, former DPP spokesperson and Director of the Youth Department Wu Jun-yen, threw paints on the Police Department on the Fourth Anniversary of the Sunflower Movement back in 2018, and was sentenced to 30 days in jail for insulting public agency and malicious mischief. The penalty may be commuted to fines of NT$30,000.

The part on committing insult on public agency has always been a very controversial issue. It is seen as a violation on the constitution. Of course I won't accept the verdict. The court is using a law that is untimely to purge political dissidents or social activists. I will appeal the case again.

Wu was recruited by the DPP in 2019 for his reputation in the social movement scene. However, Wu said the DPP was aware of his previous actions and wouldn't change his stance on the Sunflower Movement. Other than Wu, five students from the National Taiwan University including postgraduate student Kao Jo-yu, student Chang Keng-wei, Chen Ting-hao, Chang Di-hao and Chuang Cheng-yang were also sentenced to 30 days in jail for throwing paint at the Executive Yuan. The case can still be appealed.

總統蔡英文聽到問題快步離去，總統府發言人丁允恭，爆出桃色風波，現在更有前女友出面指控，丁允恭在擔任高雄新聞局長任內的醜聞，重創形象，對此丁允恭回應儘管報導內容未盡傳實，但個人行為確實違反社會期待，9號向總統請辭獲准。

行政院長蘇貞昌表示：「我對他個人的才華跟個人，過去也是很努力奉公，我是覺得比較可惜。這事就這樣了，把這個無限上綱，又要罵…罵到那個樣子，我是覺得不好，也不必。」

行政院長蘇貞昌警惕年輕人行為要多注意，而丁允恭擔任高雄市新聞局長任內，就受到當時市長陳菊賞識，之後更北上擔任行政院副發言人，再轉往總統府，這次因為個人私德受到外界抨擊，黯然離職。

另外，曾擔任民進黨發言人及青年部主任的吳濬彥，2018太陽花學運四週年時，因為在警政署潑漆涉犯侮辱公署、毀損罪，台北地院審理，9號則判吳濬彥拘役30日，得易科罰金3萬元。

民進黨宜蘭縣黨部副執行長 吳濬彥表示：「侮辱公署的部分，這個一直都是非常有爭議，有違憲這樣的一個狀況。一個不合時宜的法條，用來整肅政治異議者，或社會運動者，我們當然是，並不會服從這樣的判決，大家討論，應該是會再提出上訴。」

吳濬彥之前因為在社運圈頗有名氣，2019被延攬加入民進黨，但他表示以前的這些行為，民進黨內都清楚，也不會改變他對太陽花學運的立場。而除吳濬彥之外，還有台大研究生高若有、學生張耿維、陳廷豪、張迪皓、莊程洋等5人，同樣因為在行政院潑漆被判拘役30天，全案可以再上訴。
