The tourism industry has been heavily impacted by COVID-19. Hsi Hung Travel service Co. fired the first shot on Mar. 17, announcing the suspension of all domestic and overseas tours until Apr. 30. Cola Tour has also announced the cancellation of all overseas tours to epidemic zones before Apr. 30.

Hsi Hung Travel Service has cancelled all domestic and overseas tours until Apr. 30 and is refunding deposits in full. The agency usually sends 200 tours of 7,000 people to Japan every month, but these numbers have plummeted since the government upgraded its travel alert for Japan to level 3.
All tours will be canceled until Apr. 30. If flights remain canceled through May, we will cancel our tours through May.
Cola Tour has likewise canceled all overseas tours to epidemic zones through the end of April. Phoenix Tours and Lion Travel, meanwhile, say they have a handful of tours still traveling. Phoenix's share price has fallen by 40 percent and Lion's by 39 percent this year, both to new lows.

原本和朋友約好，今年要一起去中國九寨溝玩的林小姐，一大早就來旅行社辦理退費，全球武漢肺炎疫情延燒，林小姐說有命也不敢這樣玩。
退費旅客 林小姐表示：「限制，限制我不會去，政府規定怎樣就怎樣做，沒有限制，我也不敢去。」
貼出大紅公告，旅遊業龍頭之一的喜鴻假期，宣布到4月30號之前，國外不分航線，全面停止出團，訂金也全退。受到疫情影響，日本航線原本每月有七千個人、約兩百團出團，三月疫情爆發後剩下三千人，17號日本旅遊疫情建議升級到第三級警告後，這個月出團數更直接掛零。
喜鴻假期副總經理 陸一方表示：「目前來講，4月30號，全面能夠做退團作業，如果航空公司再把退團作業，再提升到五月的話，我們五月也會全面停止出團，來配合作業。」
可樂旅遊也宣布，預計到四月底之前，針對指揮中心公告所有的疫情警告區，海外團體旅遊都將全數取消，鳳凰旅遊和雄獅旅遊方面則回應，目前只剩下零星出團。面對疫情衝擊，旅遊業苦哈哈，今年以來，鳳凰股價下跌幅度達到40%，雄獅股價跌幅也達39%，持續創下歷史新低的價位。
