32nd COVID-19 Patient Visits Taipei Station, Longshan Temple|確診移工看護多次造訪 北車.龍山寺消毒

The Central Epidemic Command Center has announced a list of places an illegal Indonesian migrant worker caregiver went to before she was hospitalized with COVID-19. The woman visited Taipei Station many times and also spent time around Longshan Temple. To protect public health, Taipei Station and Longshan Temple were sterilized on Feb. 28.


On Feb. 17, a migrant worker that has since been diagnosed with COVID-19 spent time in the Longshan Temple area. On the 28th, Taipei City Department of Environmental Protection workers disinfected the temple and its surroundings.

Temple staff worked alongside to clean the streets around the temple.

Our chief task today is disinfecting the area around Longshan Temple. We have already disinfected this site area at least two or three times this month.

According to the Central Epidemic Command Center, the migrant worker visited Taipei Station on the 16th, 17th and 19th. On the 17th, she spent time in the underground Taipei City Mall. Taiwan Railways is disinfecting transfer corridors, restrooms, train seats, and other public areas. Grab handles and buttons on train cars are also being cleaned every so often.

Wear a mask and wash your hands often.

We will provide masks for Taiwan Railways passengers with fevers. We will take their temperature and direct them to medical assistance.

The lobby of Taipei Station is usually crowded on long weekends, but was virtually empty on the 28th. All travelers were wearing masks. Taiwan Railways plans to install infrared thermometer sensors in April and will direct passengers with fevers to hospitals. Their tickets will be refunded, but they will have to get to a hospital on their own.



確診外籍移工看護在2月17日，曾經到過龍山寺附近逛街，北市環保局派員到龍山寺進行消毒作業。

每一個角落都仔細噴消，而廟方也一併出動人力，清洗廟宇周邊的道路。

萬華區清潔隊長 林志芳表示：「今天我們主要作業，是針對龍山寺的周邊部分，進行做一個再次的消毒作業，就這個地點來講，這個月其實不只一次，至少來了兩、三次以上了。」

而根據中央流行疫情指揮中心公布的資訊，外籍移工看護在2月16日.17日.19日，三度到過台北車站，其中2月17日，還在台北車站地下街逛街，台鐵也請委外清潔公司加強消毒作業，從捷運連通道，到公共廁所，列車上的座椅走道公共區域也全面噴消，車站部分，將不定時擦拭旅客頻繁接觸的扶手和按鈕。

旅客表示：「戴口罩，還要常洗手啊！」

台北車站站長 黃榮華表示：「台鐵的旅客如果他有發燒的話，我們可以協助來發給口罩，跟他量體溫和協助就醫。」

確診個案入院前"趴趴走"，多少引發民眾擔心，以往在連假時坐滿旅客的台北車站大廳，難得空蕩，往來旅客也都戴上口罩自保，台鐵透露，預計在四月起會裝設紅外線測溫儀，若旅客發燒，將協助就醫，並全額退票，不提供載送服務。
