Tsai Busy Reshuffling DPP and Criticizing KMT|郭擬贈國旗帽蔡:非所有場合都適合戴帽子

President Tsai will depart July 11 on a visit to Taiwan's diplomatic allies in the Caribbean. Prior to her visit, former Hon Hai Chair Terry Gou tried to present Tsai with a cap bearing the national flag for her to wear on the trip. Tsai responded by criticizing Gou, saying she has a protocol to follow and caps are not suitable for all occasions.

All of our councilors -- we will all find the time to sit down and talk to better understand grassroots opinions.

Through this grassroots exchange and interaction, I think the central government will be able to make better policies and implement them in a more concrete way.

The DPP caucus put together a communication software group and invited members of Tsai's campaign team to join so they can directly respond to public opinion. As Tsai will depart on an overseas visit soon, former Hon Hai Chair Terry Gou tried to present Tsai with a cap bearing the national flag for her to wear on the trip on the 7th. Tsai responded by criticizing Gou, saying she has protocol to follow and caps are not suitable for all occasions. Tsai also responded to criticism from the pan-blue camp.

(President Tsai, are you willing to wear it?) (Terry) Gou is (Terry) Gou. It's like, it's his way or the highway for every single thing. The things that were done (on July 7), they actually look more like a presidential primary campaign rally. When the president goes on an overseas visit, there are established presidential overseas visit protocols to follow. The president has to conduct herself in a certain way. I'm not scared of questions from anyone. I actually think they are very scared of me. Over this period of time, they have been making a concerted effort during different opportunities, or the same opportunity, to criticize and attack me. It looks like they're more scared of me.

Tsai has her hands full with internally reshuffling the DPP and externally criticizing her Kuomintang opponents at every turn. The president believes this shows her commitment to winning the 2020 presidential election.

不只是見面傾聽地方聲音，綠營議員們更創建通訊軟體群組，邀請蔡英文競選團隊加入，可以直接反映民意。而總統蔡英文即將出訪邦交國，7日前鴻海董事長郭台銘一度想送國旗帽給蔡英文出訪的時候戴，蔡英文反批出訪有一定規格，不是每個場合都適合戴帽子，面對藍營進攻，蔡英文也做好準備。

總統蔡英文表示：「（總統你願意戴嗎？) 郭董就是郭董，好像每一件事情，都要用他的方法來做，昨天做的這些事情，其實看起來，真的比較像是初選在造勢，其實總統出訪，都有總統出訪的一定的規格，跟一定的作為，我沒有怕誰的問題，我倒是覺得他們真的很怕我，這段時間以來，他們齊心協力共同在不同機會，或在同樣機會，都爭取來批評或攻擊我，看起來是他們比較怕我吧！」

蔡英文對內持續整合，對外則不忘砲轟國民黨對手們，展現爭取2020總統大位的決心。
