GOU EXCORIATES JAPANESE MINISTRY FOR SLANDER|郭:東芝案走到現在 是高科技大騙局

Foxconn's Annual General meeting took place yesterday. After the meeting CEO Terry Gou spoke about the Toshiba Corp's memory chip unit bid. He excoriated Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and said that Toshiba's whole high-tech bid had been a scam from start to finish. Gou also said that this was not over yet and that Foxconn still had a fifty percent chance of winning the bid. ==TERRY GOU CEO, Foxconn== If the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry had already fixed the winner, why put this out as an open bid? Foxconn's Toshiba Corp's memory chip unit bid was described by media as being over, but after the AGM concluded, Gou responded to Japanese media with anger saying that this bid was not over yet and Toshiba's case was similar to Sharp. Foxconn still had a fifty percent chance of winning the bid and the whole bidding process had been a scam. ==TERRY GOU CEO, Foxconn== So today these unwarranted charges have been planted to steal my goods. In fact, Toshiba's rival is Samsung, but they have turned Foxconn into the rival. This is personal resentment on the part of officials at Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, who are pushing Toshiba into an unknown future. It's all been a big scam Gou said that the Japanese said they worry about the leaking of technology and the provenance of investment funds were unfounded charges. He said that people should wait and see what would happen in a year's time. He also turned his wrath on the Taiwan government once again criticising its lack of efficiency. The day before Chen Li-hung had died of brain cancer and Gou's cancer treatment center at NTU Hospital had been dragged on over a decade before completion due to government inefficiency. ==TERRY GOU CEO, Foxconn== A cancer treatment hospital took a decade to build, our bureaucratic process has problems. I criticise because I hope that this place will improve, ignoring the problem is a lack of love. Guo spoke about three hopes, including that Taiwan would develop health and lifestyle industries. He emphasized that cross-strait peace and cooperation with China and the US were two prerequisites for the economy to flourish. ==TERRY GOU CEO, Foxconn== I think that cross-strait peace is the most important thing. Gou revealed that Foxconn's investment in the US which shareholders are concerned about is a plan called Fly Eagle which will be finalised at the end of July. TRANSLATED BY：CLARE LEAR 鴻海股東會今天登場，董事長郭台銘在股東會後，針對東芝半導體競標案，痛批日本經產省，他說東芝案走到現在，從頭到尾就像高科技的大騙局。郭台銘還說此案未定，鴻海還有五成的勝算，請大家拭目以待 。 ==鴻海董事長 郭台銘== 如果日本經產省 在當初已經定了結果 你為什麼要拿出來公開招標 對於東芝半導體投資案被外界形容出局，股東會後的郭董下午有備而來，面對日本媒體的詢問，他霸氣回應說，這項收購案還沒結束，東芝案跟夏普很像，鴻海還有五成以上的勝算。他更直言，東芝案走到現在，是高科技的一場大騙局。 ==鴻海董事長 郭台銘== 所以今天都是用莫須有的罪名 來栽我的贓 其實東芝的競爭對手是三星 好像把競爭對手變成鴻海 這個是日本經產省 跟日本主導的官員為了私怨 然後把東芝推向了一個 不可知的未來 高科技的大騙局 郭董說，日方擔心的技術外流，資金來源問題都是莫須有罪名。他表示一年之後，請大家拭目以待。 另外他又話鋒一轉，再度批評台灣政府行政效率差，尤其昨天因腦癌病逝的名嘴陳立宏，郭董感慨自己台大癌醫中心，因為政府效率差，歷經十年才總算完工。 ==鴻海董事長 郭台銘== 一個癌症醫院要蓋十年 我們確實是行政效率(有問題) 批評是希望這個地方的進步 漠視才是對這個地方的冷淡 郭董也提出三大願望，包括在台發展健康及樂活產業，其次強調、兩岸和平及中美未來合作，將是經濟繁榮不可缺的兩大關鍵。 ==鴻海董事長 郭台銘== 我認為兩岸的和平 相處 我覺得是最重要的 是我也非常關注的 中美兩邊的經濟 是世界兩大最重要的經濟體 如果他兩邊的經濟動盪 兩邊打起貿易的戰爭 對任何人都沒有好處 至於股東關心的鴻海美國投資計畫，郭台銘透露，對美投資方向、內部正啟動Fly eagle飛鷹計劃，預計7月底會定調。 綜合報導
