FAR EASTERN AIR TRANSPORT APPLIES TO TAKE OVER TRANSASIA AIRWAYS|遠航表態願接手重整復興 下週與銀行團討論

In the wake of the sudden dissolution of TransAsia Airways, Far Eastern Air Transport and former CAA director-general have both previously expressed interest in taking over the company. On Dec 17, Far Eastern stated again that they have been in negotiations with TransAsia's creditor banks to have its takeover plan approved and the banks are expected to meet next week to discuss the bid. After the takeover, they will change the company name to Far Eastern United Airways. However, the creditor banks group said they have not yet received any information. The unexpected dissolution of TransAsia Airways has resulted in a series of labor disputes. On Dec 17, Far Eastern Air Transport confirmed that they have applied to take over TransAsia's restructuring and will meet with the creditor banks next week. Once the banks give their approval, Far Eastern will take over more than 1,000 TransAsia employees and will change the company name to Far Eastern United Airways. TransAsia Workers' Union welcomed the news. ==PANG MIN-YI Dep-Dir., TransAsia Airways Workers' Union== TransAsia is big, so it may be difficult for FAT to take over the entire company, but if they can take on some employees, it's at least an opportunity. According to media sources, TransAsia's creditor banks said the company is selling airplanes and other collaterals to pay back creditor banks and will not consider restructuring the company. The No. 1 creditor bank, Mega Bank, said they have not yet heard any news yet. TransAsia will close the ticket booking operations on Dec 20. The first group of staff to be laid off is around 300 people. Flight attendants who served less than a year will only receive a little over NT$10,000 in severance pay. ==MS. HSU, TransAsia Airways flight attendant== The average salary of flight attendants is NT$50,000-60,000, but they only declared a little over NT$20,000, so I just got over NT$10,000. They keep telling lies. People on the outside don't see why we're protesting. In fact, we only got NT$11,388. TransAsia employees are still camped outside chairman Vincent Lin's residence in protest. Some employees are upset that the company declared lower salaries for them. As a result, they only receive a few thousand for unemployment subsidy. The Union urges the government to help them get reasonable severance pays. TRANSLATED BY：CHRISTINA LIU 復興航空無預警解散，先前、遠航和前民航局長張國政都曾表示有意接手，但後來無疾而終，今天遠東航空再度表態，表示已向民航局爭取重整復興，並且要接下所有航線，下週將和債權銀行團開會，未來打算改名為遠東聯合航空。不過銀行團則是表示，目前還沒接到相關訊息。 復興航空無預警解散，勞資爭議不斷，先前曾表態有意願接手興航的遠東航空，今天再度對外證實，已經向民航局爭取，要接手復興重整，遠航表示，下週將與債權銀行團開會，如果興航的債權銀行同意，就會接手上千名員工進行重整，打算改名遠東聯合航空。對此消息，興航工會表示，樂觀其成。 ==復興航空企業工會副理事長 龐閔憶== 這麼(大)一間公司 遠東可能比較有困難 想整個吃下來 但是如果說就是工會這邊 如果可以順利的話 能夠轉介多少員工去那邊 都是一個機會 不過有媒體指出，興航債權銀行團透露，目前以處分飛機等抵押品，拍賣後的資金再分給債權銀行，並不考慮重整。最大債權銀行兆豐銀表示，目前沒接到相關訊息。 興航員工上午也回到松山機場，12月20日將全數結束票務作業，上百名員工，相當不捨，而復興解散後，第一波資遣的員工大約有3百名。年資未滿1年的空服員，資遣費只有1萬多。 ==復興航空空服員 許小姐== 空服員的平均薪資五到六萬 然後你(復興)用 最低的勞保2萬多去報 （資遣費)我只有拿到1萬多 我不知道這個謊言要說到什麼時候 所以局外人看不出來 為什麼我們要抗爭 可是事實上我們就是 只有拿到1萬1千382(3)元 目前興航員工仍每日輪班在董事長林明昇家門口夜宿抗議，部分員工不滿被資遣後，薪資還被高薪低報，只能領到幾千塊的失業補助，工會呼籲，政府必須正視，讓他們能夠爭取合理資遣費。 記者李志華 郭俊麟 台北報導
