近期北台灣下大雨，因此台鐵平溪線預警封閉，原本是今（18）日要恢復通車，結果清晨3時多發現在大華車站附近的鐵軌路基流失，下陷大約1.5公尺，因此決定封閉，再進行搶修。而台鐵也說明，因為現場還是有間歇性大雨，又因邊坡需要打樁，因此最快要在19日0時以後才有機會搶通。
