|生活英國、愛爾蘭等地發生多起孩童喝冰沙後意識喪失、低血糖、代謝性酸中毒等急性症狀，愛爾蘭都柏林大學調查後發現可能是冰沙中添加的「甘油」導致中毒。由於目前英國食品標準局僅建議4歲以下幼童避免食用這些飲料，研究人員呼籲主管機關修改健康指引，將避免食用年齡提升至8歲。
