Public at Taitung Balloon Festival Asked to Wear Masks|熱氣球嘉年華人潮爆滿 今起強制戴口罩

Taitung County government announced that starting Aug. 10, it mandates all the people who attend the hot air balloon festival to wear masks and calls on the public to cooperate.


By 5:30 a.m., the venue for Taitung's annual hot air balloon festival is filled with tourists and local residents, all are waiting for the hot air balloons to rise.

Due to the recent development of the pandemic, the host of the festival constantly reminds the public to wear face masks. However, some members of the public didn't wear face masks, believing it doesn't matter in open areas. Taitung County government recently began to mandate all those who fly hot air balloons, including the pilots, ground crew and passengers, to wear masks.
They're doing a good job telling the passengers to wear masks.

We announced, earlier at the stage, that everybody must wear masks.

Whether it is during flight or suspending in the air, we've asked all the passengers and pilots to wear masks.

The public not only needs to wear masks at the hot air balloon festival, the management office of the East Coast National Scenic Area will mandate all attending tourists to wear masks and go through temperature checkup at the upcoming six "moon light sea concerts" and when entering the tourist center. On the other hand, attending members of an upcoming Pasiwali Festival at the Taitung Forest Park are all asked to register with their real names online and wear face masks at the venue.



清晨5點半左右，台東縣鹿野鄉高台的熱氣球嘉年華會會場，遊客已坐滿了觀賞區，等待觀賞各種造型熱氣球升空。

由於國內新冠肺炎疫情又有變化，熱氣球嘉年華會會場的主持人，不時宣導請民眾戴口罩，但可能有部分遊客認為會場是空曠場所，沒有戴上口罩；不過台東縣政府即日起採取搭熱氣球強制戴口罩的措施，不論飛行員、地面工作人員和乘客都要全程戴口罩，等候搭乘區的遊客都戴上了口罩。

遊客 呂小姐表示：「是，宣導的不錯。」

遊客 劉先生表示：「滿好的，滿安全的。」

台東縣交觀處長 余明勳表示：「整個的大會舞台上面，我們會宣布說，要戴口罩。」

熱氣球飛行員 達嗨表示：「自由飛行、繫留，我們都要求飛行員，跟搭乘的乘客戴上口罩。」

不只是熱氣球嘉年華會要求遊客進場要戴口罩，東海岸國家風景區管理處接下來的6場月光海音樂會，以及進入遊客中心，都要求戴口罩並量體溫。另外，這個週末在台東市森林公園還有一場大型的Pasiwali台灣原住民音樂節，也要實施上網實名制登錄進場並戴口罩的管制措施，呼籲民眾配合。
