TW Man Repatriated at HK Airport for No Apparent Reason |赴港擬與女友共度耶誕 台男機場被攔下遣返

A man from Chuanghua wanted to visit Hong Kong and spend Christmas with his girlfriend who lives there. However, he was denied entry at the Hong Kong International Airport and was even interrogated by the authorities with his luggage searched. He was then put on a flight directly back to Taiwan without any explanation.


On December 24th, Mr. Hsu was escorted by the immigration officer at the Hong Kong International Airport, preparing to board a flight back to Taiwan. Mr. Hsu planned to spend Christmas with his girlfriend in Hong Kong but was deported even before entering Hong Kong. The immigration officer did not explain clearly as to why Mr. Hsu was not allowed entry so he was quite upset by this.

I asked them to give me a detailed notice stating the reasons for refusal to enter. I did not do anything illegal or bring any contraband into the country or illegally enter the country. They did not give me any related documents.

Mr. Hsu lives in Chuanghua and has met his Hong Kongese girlfriend through the internet half a year ago. His girlfriend came to Taiwan to visit him in September, he then traveled back to Hong Kong with his girlfriend. Dec. 24 was his second time traveling to Hong Kong, not only was he denied entry, but he was also interrogated and his luggage was searched. The contents of the interrogation include questions related to politics.

He kept asking me if I had engaged in any kind of political events. (Do you have any political inclination?) No, I don't have a preference. I just don't have any ties with politics.

Mr. Hsu said both of them have not voiced any anti-extradition or politics-related comments on the internet and have not engaged in any political events. This trip not only cost him a fight with his girlfriend but also and additional NT$10,000 to fly directly back to Taiwan. He is hoping relevant authoritative agencies can assist him to clarify this incident.



這個月24號當天，許先生推著行李，在香港機場跟著入境處的官員，準備前往搭機返回台灣，不過許先生根本還沒入境香港，就遭到遣返，原本要和香港女友一起慶祝聖誕節的計畫，也因此泡湯。但香港入境處對於為何不准許入境，根本沒有說清楚，讓許先生不能接受。

投訴民眾 許先生表示：「當下我有要求他們，就是給我詳細的通知，說是看是什麼原因，我們有沒有非法違禁品，或者是，就是非法入境的遊客，他也沒有給我們出示證明。」

住在彰化的許先生表示，他和香港女友半年前透過網路認識交往，9月間女友曾到台灣找他，隨後他跟著女友一同返回香港旅遊，這次是第二次到香港，不但被拒絕入境，還被帶到小房間盤查、搜索行李，還問了許多有關政治傾向的問題。

投訴民眾 許先生表示：「他有一直問，可是我都說我沒有參與那些東西啊！（你本身有特殊的政治傾向嗎？) 沒有耶，我沒有偏袒誰，然後我也沒有，反正就跟政治無關啊！」

許先生覺得相當無辜，他跟女友在網路上，都沒有針對反送中或是發表政治相關言論，更沒有參加相關政治活動，卻無緣無故遭遣返，為此還跟女友吵了一架，也必須再支付遣返機票一萬多台幣，至今仍查不到被拒絕的原因。擔心自己未來無法再入境香港，也希望相關主管單位能協助釐清原因。
