Abundant rainfall turns Taitung park into watery forest / 颱風雨水多 東市森林公園成"水漾森林"　　　　　　　　　　

From July to October, a total of five typhoons struck the eastern part of Taiwan. Due to precipitation brought by the typhoons, Taitung County's natural spring areas such as Taitung City Forest Park's Pipa Lake and Chihshang's Dapo Pond have had their underground springs flowing non-stop. The Forest Park's Pipa Lake has underground springs constantly pouring water, which have cut off the bike lane. The whole of the windbreak forest landscape looks different and much like Nantou County's Shuiyang Forest. ==MS. For the safety of visitors, last week Taitung County Government temporarily closed the flooded Forest Park bike lane. Now the water level has declined and the scenery is beautiful.
