The Pokémon Go! craze has flooded Taipei City's Beitou Park with people every day. They not only bring a lot of trash, but also cause traffic chaos. Police in Beitou have formed an ad hoc group to deal with these problems, and has asked the game company to decrease the number of Pokéstops. As a rare Pokémon Blastoise showed up in Beitou Park, crowds flocked to catch it on their mobile phones. ==Pokémon Go! player== I saw other players running, so I ran as well. Some even said that Blastoise was inside KFC. After I heard someone shouting "Blatoise", I just rushed over there. Beitou Park has attracted a lot of Pokémon Go! players since the game was launched in Taiwan. It is regarded as "Pokémon Heaven" because there are various kinds of rare Pokémon and a high density of Pokestops.The fervor of the Pokémon craze in Taiwan has even been shown on media abroad such as Time magazine and the Wall Street Journal. ==POKÉMON GO! PLAYER== In Taoyuan, there aren't a lot of Pokémon. I did see some, but I hardly caught any. Therefore, I got the idea of visiting Beitou Park, and I caught two Snorlax today. I even helped my wife to catch a Snorlax, and she herself caught two Snorlax as well. ==RESTAURANT EMPLOYEE== While people are busy catching Pokémon, restaurant owners are catching money. As to us, we catch enough pay for drinks. Though the Pokémon craze in Beitou Park is good for business, I really have to say that Pokemon Go! players have caused huge traffic chaos. Summer is the low season for Beitou's travel industry. However, it has been turned into a tourist attraction again because of Pokémon Go!. As tourists bring money to Beitou, they also bring trash and traffic chaos. ==EPA CLEANER== We used to have more trash in the afternoon and in the morning. However, now there is trash all day long. We cannot stand it anymore. There is no solution to this problem. A total of 474 traffic fines have been given out around the Beitou Park over the last two weeks. Police say they have downloaded the app Go Radar to predict where the crowds will gather. Moreover, for the sake of pedestrians' rights, they have asked the game company to decrease the number of Pokestops.
