Website Has Footage From 700 Cameras in Taiwan｜20221206 PTS English News公視英語新聞

Many people install home security cameras to keep an eye on their children or pets, but many are unaware that the footage may be accessible to others. People recently discovered that footage from at least 700 security cameras located in Taiwan was available on foreign website "Insecam." Information security experts remind the public to use IoT authentication and to change default passwords.

很多民眾為了安全或監看孩子跟寵物，會在家裝設監視器，但你確定真的只有你自己看得到嗎？有民眾發現一國外網站「insecam」上，有至少7百多隻台灣各地的監控器畫面被外流到該網站上，對此資安專家跟業者也提醒民眾，除了選有通過IoT認證的監視器，安裝後也一定要換掉預設密碼，確保安全。
