A photo studio in Taipei City has seen a number of past presidents coming through to have their portraits taken. Nowadays, the photographer is experimenting with new techniques to add colors to old black-and-white photos to regain their former glory. A photo studio in Taipei City's Zhongzheng District has seen a number of presidents coming through the door and have their portraits taken, including former President Lee Teng-hui, Chen Shui-bian, Ma Ying-jeou, and incumbent President Tsai Ing-wen. We preserve old photographs as a way of safeguarding a piece of history. Whoever wants to reminisce the past could just see our old photographs and see how people used to live in the past. Lin Kuang-liang is an old-fashioned photographer. However, in the digital age, he has to learn new craft and resort to computer software to restore black-and-white photos to color.
