Taoyuan City conducted a second round of testing on Re-Yi Distribution Service, with employees and family members undergoing 14-day home quarantines. Meanwhile, the Askey Computer Corp. transmission chain has dwindled.
Askey Computer Corp. employees working at the Farglory Free Trade Zone and on the list to be tested underwent their last PCR test on Feb. 7, the first day of work after the Lunar New Year holiday. Meanwhile, other people working in the zone that weren't on the list to undergo testing had to provide a negative rapid test result from within the past three days for entry. This measure will continue for another two weeks.
Cheng Wen-tsan, Mayor, Taoyuan City："The turnover rate for Askey Computer Corp.'s dispatched workers is very high, at nearly 50 percent. You need to have a detailed list with the real names of the workers that actually come in every day and those who use shuttle buses."
Taoyuan City Mayor Cheng Wen-tsan said Farglory Free Trade Zone is a controlled area, as well as an airport special zone. Askey is required to implement entry controls, including real name registration, epidemic prevention regulations, and employee negative test results, to resume work. He also gave an update about the Re-Yi Distribution Service cluster infection.
Cheng Wen-tsan, Mayor, Taoyuan City："We completed the testing of the 790 employees who are at secondary risk and who live in Taoyuan yesterday. The results were all negative. The follow up for those employees who don't live in Taoyuan will be completed today."
On Feb. 7, a second round of testing was conducted on 267 employees and family members undergoing 14 days of quarantine. Cheng hopes cluster infections can be suppressed with repeated testing and expanded contact tracing. He also said people should get boosters, and companies should make disease prevention plans, stagger workforces, and conduct regular testing well to ensure normal operations.

桃園市長 鄭文燦表示：「像亞旭員工，有將近5成的派遣人員，流動率很高，必須要針對每日的實際工作人員，以及交通車使用人員，都要有實名制的清冊。」
市長鄭文燦在防疫會議會後記者會表示，遠雄自貿港區是一個管制型園區，也是機場特區，入園管制必須落實實名實聯制、防疫規範，以及做到人員都要持有陰性證明，亞旭才能復工，也針對日翊物流最新採檢情況進行說明。
桃園市長 鄭文燦表示：「昨天針對次風險區域的員工，居住在桃園的，有790位，全數採檢完畢，結果都是陰性。居住在外縣市的員工，也會在今天追蹤完成。」
日翊物流7號再針對居家隔離14天員工和家屬共267人進行二採，鄭文燦希望群聚感染能在多次採檢、以及多層次匡列下逐漸收斂，也談到疫情要能夠控制，除了打好打滿第三劑、提升保護力外，企業為了要能夠正常營運，需要做好更多防疫規劃，除分倉分流外，定期採檢也很重要。
