NO PUBLIC SCHEDULE ON TSAI'S ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY|蔡執政週年無公開行程 邀弱勢童午餐

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the Tsai government officially taking office. President Tsai Ing-wen did not have any public activities scheduled. Tsai invited children from disadvantaged families to the official residence. In the morning the freeway toll collectors self help group went to Kategalan Boulevard to protest and demanded that Tsai keep the promises she made to them during her election campaign. On the one year anniversary of taking power, President Tsai Ing-wen did not have any public activities scheduled, but invited children from disadvantaged families to the official residence for lunch, hoping to set an example in showing concern for social welfare. The toll collectors were careful to hold the most vocal part of their protest during the exam recess and turned off their loudhailers.
