Meanwhile, United Airlines CEO Oscar Munoz delivered a belated apology after the forcible removal of a passenger led to a full-blown PR fiasco and sent the company's stock price toppling. 69-year-old Vietnam-born doctor David Dao was violently dragged off from the airplane by Chicago aviation officers; the video went viral over the internet and sparked outrage and controversy. ==UNITED AIRLINES PASSENGER== It definitely was ridiculous. It shouldn't have happened. That was awful. The United Airlines CEO Oscar Munoz has recently being named as "Communicator of the Year" by PR Week. Munoz defended his employees for following procedure and the forced removal of the disruptive and belligerent passenger. Munoz's statement drew protests from Asian communities, especially from the Chinese and Vietnamese. The stock price for the United Airlines plunged 6.3% in pre-market trading on April 11, the company has lost US$600 million from its US$22 billion assets. But United Airlines were trying to remove four passengers after all passenger got on board. The incident has provoked controversies and debates. The damages made to the United Airlines reputations are irrevocable.
