EMBASSIES INSTRUCTED ON GUARD AFTER SAO TOME CUTS TIE|防斷交骨牌效應 外長通令21個使館警戒

In the wake of the breaking off of diplomatic relations between Taiwan and Sao Tome and Principe, Minister of Foreign Affairs David Lee instructed 21 Taiwanese embassies around the world to remain on guard to prevent chain reactions among other diplomatic allies. Former Vice President Annette Lu remarked that Taiwan is fighting an uphill battle in diplomacy and suggest that President Tsai formulate a new strategy and develop new consensus through open dialogue with the public to replace the 1992 consensus.
