KOREANS HOLD LARGE-SCALE PROTEST FOR THIRD WEEKEND|親信干政風暴 首爾百萬人示威倒朴槿惠

On Nov. 12, over one million South Koreans staged multiple rallies across central Seoul to demand President Park Geun-hye resign over a scandal involving her longtime confidante and former aides. Organizers estimated that the number of participants in the ralIies, the third lot since the scandal came to light last month, was 850,000. South Korean President Park Geun-hye faced mounting pressure to step down on November 12 as hundreds of thousands of demonstrators marched in the capital to protest that she let a friend meddle in state affairs. ==PARK JE-SANG protester == This bad person, who was not elected by us, has been controlling the country. I was angry because she [South Korean President Park Geun-hye] was nothing but a puppet. I am furious for all these reasons. It was the third weekend protest rally since Park's first public apology on Oct. 25 .The protest was in central Seoul's Gwanghwamun Square, just one kilometer away from the president official residence, the Blue House. Around 25,000 police officers were deployed and although the protest was legal, around 5,000 people broke through police lines towards the President's official resident. Some jumped on top of police buses that had been parked as barriers and stood on the roofs until pulled down by police. One 60 year old protestor with low blood pressure and two young men who collapsed were taken to hospital. South Korean media reported that 32 people were injured in police confrontation and given emergency medical treatment at the site and 6 were taken to hospital. One injured policeman was also taken to hospital. They also said they would continue to hold rallies until the President stepped down. TRANSLATED BY：CLARE LEAR 南韓總統朴槿惠「親信干政」醜聞，持續引爆民怨。在首爾，昨天晚間有上百萬民眾上街，發起名為「朴槿惠 政權下台 非常國民行動」的抗議，是近三十年來 規模最大的示威。現場發生多起警民衝突。示威民眾 到今天早上才被強制驅離。 ==NS== 朴槿惠下台 朴槿惠下台 距離南韓總統府青瓦台只有一公里的光化門廣場，擠滿抗議民眾。在首爾當地時間12號，據稱有一百萬人上街，要總統朴槿惠為「親信崔順實干政風波」下台。數十萬人從外地前來響應，傳出車票、機票拋售一空，是南韓近三十年規模最大的示威。 ==示威民眾== 朴槿惠也許不是出自惡意 而是南韓政治需要改善 我已經71歲 40多年來第一次參加抗爭 我覺得很有意義 這場抗議名為「朴槿惠政權下台非常國民行動」，由在野黨和超過1500個民間團體發起；主辦單位宣稱有一百多萬人參加，警方則估計為26萬人。 警方派出最少2萬5千名警員維安，許多都穿著鎮暴裝備，並用大小警車阻斷通往青瓦台道路，避免失控；不過，一度有上千民眾突破防線，和警方爆發肢體衝突。據南韓媒體報導，推擠造成2名員警和6人送醫，還有30多人因為虛脫、跌倒，在現場接受緊急救護。示威直到13號清晨，人群才逐漸散去。 ==17歲示威學生 張真宇== 像我這樣的一般民眾 都到場要向朴槿惠施壓 她不要再無恥 坐著總統大位 集會現場有不少學生，有的和父母前來，也有不少是學校班聯會發動；即使距離南韓大專聯考不到幾天，仍有高三學生到場聲援。朴槿惠的民調支持度約百分之五，已經跌到歷史低點；而且在19歲到29歲的區間，支持度是零；也有超過六成民眾認為朴槿惠應該下台。 主辦單位表示，會持續抗議，直到朴槿惠下台；這個月的19號和26號，也會發起遊行示威。 記者 邱偉淳 報導
