The 12th round of vaccinations opened on Oct. 22. In Taipei, Moderna was given at clinics; AZ at the Expo Dome; and BNT at hospitals to avoid confusions. However, many people canceled appointments after the government announced mixed doses have been approved for the 13th round.
The 12th round of vaccinations opened on Oct. 22, with many people that have been waiting months for their second dose of Moderna finally able to get them at nearby clinics.
Citizen："It's very convenient, especially for someone of my age to be able to get vaccinated close to home."
Citizen："There are clinics everywhere, so you have more choices for where to get your shot. However, people's top choices are often unavailable."
Zen Lin, Chair, ROC Primary Care Association："Most people prefer to get their shot near home. They can get done within 30 minutes. If you're going to a hospital or a mass vaccination site, however, you might be there half the day."
AZ, Moderna, and BNT are all being administered in the 12th round. In Taipei, Moderna is being given at clinics; AZ is being given at the Expo Dome, and BNT is being given at municipal hospitals. Many people that got a jab on the 22nd felt everything went smoothly.

The Central Epidemic Command Center has finally approved a second dose of an mRNA vaccine for people that got a first dose of AZ, starting with the 13th round of vaccinations in November. The CECC is only planning on administering BNT for second doses, however.

Many people in Taipei canceled their vaccination appointment on the 22nd after the announcement about mixed doses was made. The Taipei City Government says the overall impact won't be known until the end of the day on the 22nd.

中華民國基層醫療協會理事長 林應然表示：「大部分民眾是很喜歡在附近就打完，因為它花的時間很短，可能30分鐘就打完了，就走了。可是你到大型接種站，到醫院，可能要半天才可以出的來。」
新冠疫苗第12期第一階段施打22號登場，且三大廠牌同時施打，其中北市規劃莫德納在診所施打、AZ在花博，施打量最大的BNT則在北市醫療院，由於施打時段選擇多，且有安排人力引導，民眾大致覺得這樣的規劃沒太大問題。
民眾表示：「很順暢，很順暢，而且那個醫護人員，還有那些護理人員都相當的好，他一直跟我們解說的很清楚。」
民眾表示：「大家這樣順序還滿好的啦！等也不會等太久。」
隨著各廠牌新冠疫苗陸續到貨，指揮中心指揮官陳時中表示，預計11月上旬，第13輪疫苗將開放全年齡接種AZ疫苗者，第2劑可混打mRNA疫苗，目前規劃混打疫苗為輝瑞BNT疫苗。

只是混打消息一出後，現在傳出北市已有不少診所接到民眾希望取消的電話，至於到底有多大影響，北市府表示得等到22號施打結束才會知道。
