Chiu Yi Sues Ko Wen-je for Defamation|遭柯文哲諷"像共產黨提名" 邱毅提告

Taipei City Mayor Ko Wen-je recently criticized Chiu Yi for jumping from the Kuomintang to the New Party's at-large legislator candidate list, comparing Chiu to a Communist Party candidate. On Nov. 25, Chiu sued Ko for slander. However, Ko says he was just being honest and saying what everyone was thinking.


On the 25th, New Party at-large legislator candidate Chiu Yi sued Taipei City Mayor Ko Wen-je for defamation after the latter compared him to a Communist Party candidate. Chiu said Ko had violated the Civil Servants Election and Recall Act and he had no choice but to sue.

(Ko Wen-je) is constantly being slandered himself, but then he turns around and does the same thing to some innocent bystander. I am extremely disappointed in Ko Wen-je's behavior.

Chiu also said Ko could apologize to him privately if he feels any regret over his baseless accusation. During a public appearance on the 25th, Ko laughed off Chiu's lawsuit and said he was merely being honest and had only said what everyone was thinking.

This Chiu Yi thing is even funnier. One moment you're with the KMT and the next you're with the New Party. You're the boss behind the scenes simultaneously pulling the strings of both parties. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Sometimes, I'm only saying what everyone's thinking. I'm kind of tactless person and I said that. That's all there is to it.

Ko also said the election results in Hong Kong reflect public sentiment and called on Beijing to face the Hong Kong situation with honesty.

The results of the election make it clear where the people of Hong Kong stand. So, I'm always calling on Beijing to face the problem and not just keep blaming the CIA. I'm telling you, it's clear where the people stand.

Apart from continuing to accuse China of trying to manipulate Taiwan's upcoming elections, Ko also said the Democratic Progressive Party needs to realize actions speak louder than words. Ko also raised eyebrows by swearing while criticizing Taiwan Republic Campaign founder Peter Wang.



帶著一行人浩浩蕩蕩來到台北地檢署，新黨不分區立委參選人邱毅，對於台北市長柯文哲曾經酸他看起來就像共產黨提名的人選，認為柯文哲涉及誹謗及意圖使人不當選、違反選罷法行為。決定按鈴提告。

新黨不分區立委參選人 邱毅表示：「（柯文哲)被人家抹黑抹紅，於是就反過頭去，對無辜者進行抹黑抹紅，這樣的行為，讓我對柯文哲大大的失望。」

邱毅認為，柯文哲無憑無據就信口開河，如果有悔意就私下道歉，今天出席動土典禮的柯文哲，聽聞遭到邱毅提告，笑說他只是比較老實，說出大家的心裡話。

台北市長 柯文哲表示：「邱毅這個就更有趣了，你一下子在國民黨，一下子在新黨，可以同時影響國民黨，跟新黨的幕後老闆，這個猜也猜得到啊！所以我有時候，只是講出大家的想法，我是比較白目就講出來這樣而已。」

對於香港選舉泛民派大獲全勝，柯文哲認為選舉結果就是反映民意，呼籲北京政府要誠實面對香港現況，解決問題。

台北市長 柯文哲表示：「這選舉結果很清楚，就是說香港的民心向背，所以我每次都呼籲北京政府，要面對問題，不要老是說那是CIA在搞的，我跟你講，民心向背還是很清楚。」

除了繼續暗指中共意圖干預台灣大選，柯文哲也要民進黨別只會用說的，要真的做因應，另外柯文哲也再把炮火對準台灣國創辦人王獻極，甚至大罵髒話，恐怕又要再度掀起波瀾。
