Han Officially Named KMT Candidate for Presidential Election|韓國瑜獲提名 韓粉.罷韓兩樣情各自辦活動

Kaohsiung Mayor Han Kuo-yu has been officially nominated as KMT's official candidate to run in the 2020 Presidential Election. The development has led to different reactions in Kaohsiung. Hundreds gathered together, wearing Taiwanese flags on their clothes, and set off from the Kaohsiung City Council to celebrate the announcement. On the other hand, members of a anti-Han Kuo-yu group held a public forum to voice their opinions.

He did very little for Kaohsiung after he was elected mayor. I hope Taiwan won't turn into Hong Kong under his administration.

The group is called the Citizens Mowing Action, and their members continue their protest despite the ongoing rain. Their application to hold an official protest was rejected four times, and they eventually decide to hold a public forum to voice their opposition to the mayor. Hundreds have gathered at the occasion.

Raining isn't a bad sign. Every time it rains, it's a reminder that Han has not taken care of business in the city.

Meanwhile, the pro-Han Kuo-yu camp has mobilized their own demonstration.

All the members are dressed the R.O.C. flag t-shirts and they've gathered in front of the Kaohsiung City Council to celebrate the final nomination of Han as the KMT candidate of the 2020 Presidential Election.

Han Kuo-yu remains brave despite the ongoing smear campaign. I have to come out to show support for him.

The public has the right to use the road. We have simply hung a flag (to show support) while we're riding.

Hundreds of Han Kuo-yu supporters show their support by collectively riding down the streets of Kaohsiung city center to Gangshan District, a scene that is reminiscent of the demonstration after Han was elected mayor. The supporters aim to show their solidarity with their latest gathering.



台上開講活動展開前，台下簽署罷免高雄市長韓國瑜持續進行。

參與連署罷免民眾表示：「選上市長做得太少，太過頭，做得太超過，最好台灣不能讓他們，弄得像香港一樣。」

即使現場雨勢忽大忽小，發起罷韓的公民割草行動，依舊決定繼續進行，因為活動歷經四度申請遭拒，最後以公民論壇方式，要傳達高雄市民反韓的聲音，現場聚集數百人。

參與連署罷免民眾表示：「其實下雨不是壞事，下雨是在提醒各位，往後每一天只要遇到下雨的時候，我們就會想到韓國瑜，荒廢市政的行徑。」

而另一場活動，則是由韓粉發起。

清一色穿上國旗衣的民眾，在高雄市議會前集合，就為了慶祝韓國瑜獲得國民黨全代會提名，代表國民黨角逐2020總統大選。

參與遊行韓粉表示：「看到韓國瑜這麼勇敢，被人糟蹋，沒有支持他，心裡也過意不去。」

數百位韓粉以車隊遊街方式，重現韓國瑜參選高雄市長時，車隊隨行盛況，一路繞進高雄市區、最後抵達岡山，展現凝聚力。
