Students Across Taiwan Express Support for FS7 Launch|福衛5號飛越台灣 學生操場排字祝福

Formosat-7 is the second satellite constellation jointly developed by Taiwan and the United States. It is scheduled for launch on June 25 Taiwan time. To celebrate the launch, the National Space Organization invited students to participate in a "FS7" formation across Taiwan. On June 19, Formosat-5 successfully captured this moment.
The students form a pattern that reads "FS7" when looking from up above. FS7 is the abbreviation for Formosat-7. It's the second satellite constellation jointly developed by Taiwan and the United States. Over 1,000 students from Gushan Senior High School in Kaohsiung have come together to form FS7 in an effort to wish good luck for the satellite's launch, scheduled on June 25. On the same day, many schools across Taiwan have responded to the call from the National Space Organization to form these large letters to allow aerial drones to take photos and to express their support. This one is made by 1350 students from the Chang-hua Senior School of Commerce.
The Sacred Hearts High School in Yunlin County also mobilized 900 students from 36 classes to make the formation. Most of the students had a great time despite having to brave the heat.
It's really hot today. But it's worth the effort to express our support for the satellite launch. We're okay with it.

雲林正心中學也動員了36個班級900名學生，拍照時豔陽高照，學生雖然熱到受不了，還是很開心。
雲林正心中學學生表示:「很熱，不過為了衛星值得的，ok的沒有問題。」
雲林正心中學學生表示:「雖然很熱，可是我希望照片會很好看，如果照片好看的話這樣都值得了。」
這壯觀的一刻，要等讓正在太空軌道運行的福衛5號，飛越台灣上空拍下。

學生用心沒有白費，福衛五號順利紀錄下這歷史一刻。科技部指出，希望這場串連北中南的特別「空拍」活動，可以讓更多民眾，來關注福衛七號升空的科學盛事。
