If we can add another interview and practical exam, maybe it will better the selection process and we will be able to choose a better student.

If we can't differentiate the candidates by their scores, we can choose from a practical exam. Whether the schools of dentistry and the schools of medicine share the same trait will need further discussions.

The Star Plan looks at only the GSAT scores and the grades in high-school years. For the first time this year, the GSAT is choosing 4 best scores out of 5 subjects as the basis for evaluation. The School of Dentistry in the National Taiwan University has increased admission numbers to 7 spots. With other dentistry schools in other universities proposing a secondary interview phase, the Ministry of Education is now asking the Joint Board of College Recruitment Commission to incorporate dentistry into the 8th Academic Group in the Star Plan.

國防醫學大學牙醫系學生 陳同學表示：「就是要怎麼去調整姿勢，然後讓自己的視野是很ok的，所以我覺得這套系統就是有幫助到。」

以AR擴增實境模擬牙醫臨床並評估技術，訓練更精實，也能測試耐心與細心，老師說，要看學生特質或能力，目前在個人申請有二階面試，不過繁星推薦沒有。

台北醫學大學牙醫系主任 吳慶榕表示：「加一個面試跟操作，在篩選上面也許的，出來的學生會更好。」

招聯會執行祕書 戴念華表示：「比如說是因為同分而沒辦法去做區別，這個是從技術面可以得到改善，牙醫會不會也是(和醫學系)有這樣一個特質，我想這個是需要大家一起來做討論啦！」

繁星推薦只看學測和高中在校成績，今年學測首度五選四，台大牙醫首度增額錄取7人，加上其他大學牙醫系陸續反應，教育部已請招聯會評估，把牙醫系納入繁星第8學群的可行性。
