Han Meets with City Council Caucuses upon Return to Taiwan|韓國瑜拜會各黨團強調沒忘工商產業

Kaohsiung City Mayor Han Kuo-yu has returned to Taiwan. Following his return, he especially visited the caucuses of every political party to stress that, while the top priority of his trip was selling Kaohsiung's agricultural products, he hasn't forgotten about the manufacturing and business sector. As for criticism that he sold out Taiwan, he sarcastically responded by saying that if he wanted to do so, he would have to sneak into the Presidential Office to sell it to China by brick.

Kaohsiung City Mayor Han Kuo-yu has returned to Taiwan following his agricultural promotion trip to China. On the 29th, National Sun Yat-sen University students put on a skit at Sizihwan to accuse Han of selling out Taiwan to China. During a city council meeting on the same day, Han sarcastically responded to the criticism saying he would follow a three-step plan if he really wanted to betray Taiwan.

I've already thought out my three-step plan to sell out Taiwan. I will first sneak into the Presidential Office at night. I will then take apart the Presidential Office brick by brick, and then I will sell the bricks to China. Now, that's what you call selling out Taiwan.

Han also pointed out he lacks the power or authority to sell out Taiwan and said he hopes the conspiracy theories can stop. Han will deliver an administrative briefing at the council next week. With his trip sure to be a focus, Han met with the caucuses of each party on the 29th. Democratic Progressive Party councilors later said Han needs to sell more than agricultural and fishery products.

We only see him selling Taiwan's agricultural and fishery products overseas and trying to get orders. A few days later, the General Chamber of Commerce is investing NT$ 60 billion to NT$ 80 billion and Fubon Bank is investing around NT$ 40 billion. That's over NT$ 100 billion. These are all from industry, but all you see is produce and fishery products.

Han said industrial investments totaling over NT$ 100 billion are coming to Kaohsiung in the near future. In response, city councilors said Kaohsiung came in second to last in a recent survey polling residents of the six special municipalities on their satisfaction with city administration. Han said he would take the poll results into consideration but he is currently focused on the economy.

高雄市長韓國瑜表示：「三部賣台，我已經想了很久，我發現我如果要賣台，第一個，我偷偷摸摸睡到總統府，晚上躲到總統府。第二個，偷偷把總統府的磚頭拆下來。第三，我把總統府的磚頭有計畫賣、運到中國大陸去，這叫賣台。」

韓國瑜以賣總統府比喻，強調根本沒權力賣台，希望無聊的說法就此打住。而下週要到議會做施政報告，這次參訪必定成為議員質詢焦點，韓國瑜特別到各黨團一一拜會，民進黨團也呼籲，別只賣農漁產品。

民進黨籍高雄市議員陳明澤 vs. 高雄市長韓國瑜表示：「我看都是在國外，都衝農漁業衝訂單，衝完訂單以後，過兩天工商總會來投資6百到8百億，大概富邦銀行投資4百億，就一千多億，這些都是工商企業界，不會眼睛只有農產品、漁產品。」

韓國瑜強調高雄市近期將有超過1千億元的工商投資，但議員提醒，有媒體民調指出，六都施政滿意度，高雄是倒數第二名，韓國瑜則認為參考就好，目前還是會全力衝經濟。
