TAI TZU-YING WINS DUBAI WORLD SERIES SINGLES TITLE|戴資穎勝韓選手 羽聯年終賽女單二度奪冠

World No. 1 shuttler Tai Tzu-ying rounded off a memorable year by defeating South Korean Sung Ji Hyun 21-14, 21-13 on Sunday (Dec 18) to win the Dubai World Superseries Finals women's singles title. This is the second time she won championship at the event. She is the second female badminton player to have done so. Tai Tzu-ying once again demonstrated her skill in badminton. Tai had claimed her championship title on women's single of Dubai World Superseries final with a score of 230 to 120, defeated Sung Ji-hyun from South Korea. ==TAI TZU-YING Dubai World Superseries Women's Single Champion== I felt she (South Korean competitor) was a little slower on her moves today (Dec. 18). Maybe the game yesterday (Dec. 17) made her somewhat tired. If I were to win from a more competitive game, I would feel happier over my victory. I was a bit surprised on this. Sung's height is 175 cm, quite much taller than Tai's 161. Tai once lost to Sung in earlier group match, but Tai fully prepared for winning with scores of 21 to 14 and 21 to 13, claimed her badminton championship title. ==TAI NAN-KAI Tai Tzu-ying's father== We tried to find Taiwanese male badminton players who have similar heights as South Korean competitors' and trained Tai Tzu-ying on her practice. Tai beat her South Korean adversary within 38 minutes and became the second female badminton player in history with two consecutive championship titles. Tai is to compete in China later.
