CUBANS MOURN OVER DEATH OF FIDEL CASTRO|古巴群眾悼念卡斯楚 12/4下葬革命發源地

After the death of Fidel Castro, a week of memorials have unfolded in Cuba. Many people gathered at the Revolution Square in Havana to pay their respects to the man who led the country for nearly 50 years. The interment of Castro's ashes is expected on December 4th at Santiago province, home and origin of the Cuban revolution. Cuba is in a nine-day national mourning after the influential leader Fidel Castro passed away at 90 years of age. Thousands of Cubans gathered at the Revolution Square in Havana to pay final tributes to their hero who led Cuba for nearly half of a century. In the past weekend, baseball games and all nightclubs in Havana were at a halt, alcoholic beverages not sold in markets. Fidel Castro's body was cremated on November 26, the ashes are to be interred in Santiago the place where Fidel Castro declared his revolution. Before the burial, his ashes will be on national procession for four days. Cuban Government is to hold a state funeral on November 29. As to the U.S.-Cuba relations, the U.S. President-elect Donald Trump made a post in his twitter saying that if Cuba is unwilling to make a better deal for the Cuban people, the Cuban/American people and the U.S. as a whole, he will terminate the deal. The U.S. restored diplomatic relations with Cuba in 2014, a political achievement said by the Obama Administration. ==PHILIP BRENNER, American Univ. There are many people who supported him who like the current policy. Scholars believe the current U.S. policy to Cuba is beneficial to the U.S. The White House stated it's unlikely for the U.S. to scrap the deal with Cuba.
