Prosecutors investigate information leak on missile incident / 誤射飛彈 政院:高檢署組專案偵辦.查洩密　　　　　　　　　　

After the deadly missile incident, Premier Lin Chuan called a cross-deparmental meeting to discuss the incident. Lin also entrusted theTaiwan High Prosecutor's Office to form a task force to investigate into the information leak on the misfiring of the missile. After President Tsai Ing-wen returned toTaiwan around 4:30 on the 2nd from her state visit, she made an address at the airport and extended her condolences to the skipper who was killed in the accident, saying such incident should have never happened. Tsai then returned to the presidential office to chair the National Security Council meeting. President Tsai Ing-wen was back in Taiwan after the missile blunder by the Taiwan Navy. She made an address at the Taoyuan International Airport in which she paid tribute to Captain Huang, who was killed in the misfire, saying something like this should never have happened. ==TSAI ING-WEN, President of R.O.C.== I would especially like to extend my deepest condolences to the family of Captain Huang of the fishing boat Hsiang Li Sheng. Mrs. Huang was right in saying that this incident never should have happened. I promise to the entire nation that the government will deal with the matter in the most responsible manner. President Tsai then returned to the presidential palace to hear briefings on the matter by the National Security Council and the Defense Ministry. The misfire was leaked by the head of KMT Policy Committee Tsai Cheng-yuan in a facebook message, which raises national security concerns. Premier Lin called an interagency meeting in response and entrusted Taiwan High Prosecutor's Office to form a task force to investigate the incident and the leak. He also instructed the Defense Ministry to conduct reviews on the navy's discipline and assist victims to claim state compensation. ==TUNG CHEN-YUAN, Spokesperson, Executive Yuan== The leak of sensitive information has posed a threat to our national security. The Taiwan High Prosecutor's Office task force should conduct a thorough investigation on this matter and present their findings to the public. The Defense Minister Feng Shih-kuan was not seen all day on the 1st, which provoked public criticism.
