Cloud gate wanderer project / 雲門流浪者走訪亞洲 12人分享見聞

Other than performing arts, the cloud gate is also known for its Wanderer project, which started in 2005. So far, it has sponsored 107 young artists and social workers to travel around Asia on a budget. Twelve winners that completed this project last year shared their experiences at the Cloud Gate Organization on June 5th. Chang Hao Ran shot the aerial scene of Ganges River, documenting the Indian people's life and culture. The next day, a policeman went to his place. ==CHANG HAO RAN, Participant of the Eleventh Cloud Gate Wanderer Project== We talked for a long while, and he finally realized that I didn't have any bad intentions. It took them eight hours to let me go. But I got free breakfast, two cups of tea, and a piece of news story. Chang Hao Ran didn't get arrested but his quadcopter was confiscated. He then decided to learn how to play drums, and shared his observation on the Ganges River with people. For him, living in the present is the most fascinating thing for a wanderer. The founder of the Cloud Gate Organization, Lin-Huai-Ming, said that, he is reminded of the courage to travel alone when listening to the experience sharing every year. ==LIN HUAI MING, the Founder of the Cloud Gate Organization== I'm afraid of traveling spontaneously now. I have to book a hotel and finalize my itinerary beforehand. This project reminds me that, there are people exploring the world freely. The youth experience is the highlight of life, which is why the Wanderer Project sponsors young artists to go abroad with limited resources. There are one hundred and seven wanderers who got sponsored over the past eleven years. Thirty one of them worked on performing art, and twenty nine on literature and architecture. After they completed the project, they continued to work on their respective areas. TRANSLATED BY：HSIEH JUNG 雲門基金會2005年開始流浪者計畫，11年來已經獎助107位年輕創作者、社會工作者，到亞洲貧窮旅行，12位在去年完成計畫的得主，5號在雲門舞集分享見聞。 旭日初昇，陽光灑落在蜿蜒的河道，河邊已有人們淋浴淨身，張皓然以空中攝影，呈現印度恆河中下流的人們與風情，拍完這景象的隔天早上，就有警察登門拜訪。 ==雲門第11屆流浪者計畫得主 張皓然 == 然後我們就聊了很久 然後他終於發現說這個人 沒有不良動機他就把我放走了 折騰了八個小時喝了兩杯茶 還有一份早餐 得到一篇報導 八個小時，兩杯茶與一篇報導，張皓然沒被拘留，空拍機卻被沒收，於是他去學打鼓，去和人們分享恆河的改變，專注在當下的時光，對他而言，是流浪中最迷人的狀態。雲門創辦人林懷民說，每年聽這些流浪者的經歷，都會提醒自己，要保有年輕時出去的勇氣。 ==雲門創辦人 林懷民== 因為今天我都不敢了 今天我都要先訂好房間再去 然後還有行程表複印在那裡 這很恐怖的 所以提醒我 這個事情 而且提醒當我在國內 在忙著很多很多事情的時候 告訴我們說 世界還有 這個地方 還有這些人 年輕時的經歷是一輩子最大的養分，流浪者計畫才會獎助年輕創作者，到海外貧窮旅行。11年來已有107位流浪者，其中表演藝術類31位，文學、美術、建築類29位佔大宗，而他們完成計畫後，也在所屬領域繼續耕耘。 記者林曉慧 沈志明 新北市報導
