How Can Air Force Battlefield Base Be Removed: VAC Minister 吳促遷松機.設防衛隊 馮:怎可取消空軍基地

Relocating the Taipei Songshan Airport has become the hot topic for the legislative by-election for Taipei's third constituency.

The issues of the Taipei City legislative by-election continue to revolve around DPP Enoch Wu's recommendations of relocating Taipei Songshan Airport and building a territorial defense force, etc. Minister of Veterans Affairs Council Feng Shih-kuan flat out stated that if a territorial defense force is built in Taiwan, then what is the need for the national army? He also disputed how Wu can think about taking out the Taipei Songshan Airport, a contingency air force battlefield base.

Feng Shih-kuan, Minister of Veterans Affairs Council: “How can you abort the air force battlefield base and contingency base? I hereby especially state again, to anyone, regardless of who. Only with respect to this matter; if you ask me, I'd respond this way.”

Enoch Wu responded that building a territorial defense force can help with engaging in major disaster rescue, simplifying the national army's responsibilities. Wu further emphasized that after his idea of relocating the Taipei Songshan Airport came out, a specific unit will be formed to exclude transportation and residential authorities' concerns.

Enoch Wu, Taipei City Legislative By-Election Candidate (DPP): “We claim to form a responsible administrative unit to make comprehensive planning. With respect to concerns by transportation, residential or other competent authorities, we can exclude them one by one.”

Wang Hung-wei, Taipei City Legislative By-Election Candidate (KMT): “The relocation of Taipei Songshan Airport has been slapped in the face by the DPP legislator and proclaimed unfeasible by the Minister of Transportation and Communications. Now, former Minister of Defense Feng Shih-kuan also criticized your policy. I would like to ask Enoch Wu, who's the clown here?”

For the continued controversy triggered by Enoch Wu, Wang Hung-wei stated that this claim keeps getting slapped in the face and criticized who is being the clown here? She also invited Enoch Wu to debate their policies to clarify embedded concerns.

北市立委補選，持續圍繞在民進黨吳怡農提出的遷移松山機場、建立國土防衛隊等主張。退輔會主委馮世寬直言，建立國土防衛隊的話，那要國軍幹什麼？還說怎麼可以把空軍的作戰基地取消。

退輔會主委馮世寬指出：「怎麼可以把一個空軍作戰的基地，備用的基地，把它取消呢？這是我特別再聲明一遍，對任何人，不管，我只對這事，你們問我，我這麼答覆。」

吳怡農回應，建立國土防衛部隊平時可以進行重大災害搶救，讓國軍任務單純化；也強調，松機遷移的作法是責成專職的負責單位來排除交通、住宅等各機關的顧慮。

民進黨北市立委補選參選人吳怡農提及：「我們的主張，就是責成專職的行政單位來做完整的規畫，針對我們的交通，針對我們的住宅，針對各個主管機關的顧慮，我們一一來排除。」

國民黨北市立委補選參選人王鴻薇說道：「松山機場遷建不但被民進黨的立委打臉，而且交通部長也說不可行，現在馮世寬，前國防部長，也出來批評你的政策，我想請問吳怡農到底是誰在搞笑。」

對於吳怡農的松機遷移主張，一再引發話題，王鴻薇表示這主張一再被打臉，批評到底是誰在搞笑？也要求吳怡農能和她就政見進行辯論，才能越辯越明。
