Chiang Wan-an Registers for Taipei Mayoral Election 蔣萬安登記參選 黃珊珊邀藍綠每週辯論

KMT Taipei City mayoral candidate Chiang Wan-an registered his candidacy on Sept. 1, while independent candidate Vivian Huang held her first policy presentation and called for weekly debates with her opponents. Meanwhile, KMT New Taipei City mayoral candidate Hou Yu-ih also registered and expressed his willingness to debate DPP candidate Lin Chia-lung.

Twelve KMT youth members accompanied Chiang Wan-an as he registered his candidacy for Taipei City mayor on Sept. 1. Opponent Vivian Huang, who is running as an independent candidate, called for a weekly policy debate between candidates.

Chiang Wan-an, KMT Taipei City Mayoral Candidate: “I already announce my policies for the administration of Taipei on a regular basis every week. Perhaps Deputy Mayor Huang can explain clearly to residents where she and Mayor Ko's municipal administration directions differ.”

Vivian Huang, Independent Taipei City Mayoral Candidate: “It's not going to be Huang continuing everything Ko did. The point is whether it benefits residents. If it's not beneficial, then it should be canceled. If it is beneficial, then of course it can continue to be implemented.”

Huang held her first policy presentation on Sept. 1. Her platform is a dual axis of evolution for the capital. She also criticized the social welfare policies proposed by opponent Chen Shih-chung of the DPP as an attempt to sway voters using money. Chen did not agree.

Chen Shih-chung, DPP Taipei City Mayoral Candidate: “Is it freely scattering money or is it only not benefiting anyone after it's scattered? Everyone can discuss this, but it's really a whole package.”

Over in New Taipei City, Mayor Hou Yu-ih kicked off his reelection campaign by registering for the election.

Hou Yu-ih, KMT New Taipei City Mayoral Candidate: “Four years ago, Premier Su and I had a public debate. I'm willing to do the same this year.”

Lin Chia-lung, DPP New Taipei City Mayoral Candidate: “Mayor Hou Yu-ih, make sure you don't tick the wrong box. You need to tick the box for a debate, that way you will be more of a real man who is brave enough to debate.”

Hou ticked the box for a debate on his registration form, saying he's willing to debate his opponent just like he did four years ago so that city residents will be able to understand his policy platform.

找來12位青年陪同，國民黨台北市長參選人蔣萬安，在9月1日壓軸登記營造氣勢，對手黃珊珊喊出每週一場政策辯論，蔣萬安正面迎戰。

蔣萬安表示：「我每週都固定會公布我對於台北市政的政策，其實黃副市長也可以清楚的告訴市民朋友她跟柯市長的市政方向有哪裡不同。」

黃珊珊則表示：「不是什麼柯規黃隨，重點是它對市民有沒有利，如果沒有利的本來就該取消，如果有利的當然繼續執行。」

黃珊珊也在9月1日舉行首場政策發表會，喊出首都進化雙軸線，要和市民齊步共贏，也批評對手綠營陳時中提出的社福政策是在大撒幣，但陳時中也反駁。

民進黨台北市長參選人陳時中表示：「是不是一個大撒幣或者只是撒了錢之後對大家沒有幫助可以大家來討論，可是我們這是一個全套式的。」

首都選戰激烈交鋒，新北選戰部分，新北市長侯友宜也在9月1日完成登記。

國民黨新北市長參選人侯友宜表示：「我記得在4年前的時候，我也是透過公開辯論的方式，跟蘇院長舉行過辯論會，今年我自然不例外。」

民進黨新北市長參選人林佳龍表示：「請侯友宜市長不要看錯格了，要勾那一格是辯論的，你這樣才像一個漢子有敢辯的勇氣。」

侯友宜在登記申請表欄位勾選辯論，接下林佳龍戰帖，他表示會採取當年的模式，透過辯論的方式讓新北市民更清楚政策。
