On June 19, in Paris a man attempted to attack a police vehicle on the Champs Elysees by ramming his car, full of weapons and explosives, into it. No-others were hurt or injured, but the driver died in the car. Forensic teams are shown investigating the scene of the failed attack which took place near 4 pm on the famous Champs-Elysees in central Paris. A driver rammed his car carrying gas bombs, explosives and a Kalashnikov assault weapon into a police vehicle driving down the avenue. The driver died after the incident from serious injuries. French police officials say the driver was a 31-year-old man from a Paris suburb who had been flagged for extremism with an "S'' file, which means authorities had been aware of his potential links to extremism.
