Even so, the IGPAS Committee is still scheduled to hold a hearing on April 27th to determine whether the National Women's League is a KMT affiliated organization. The IGPAS Committee emphasized that the IGPAS law is aimed at transferring KMT affiliated organizations' ill-gotten assets to the state, thus ensuring fair competition among different political parties. According to the IGPAS Committee, it is not beyond its powers to approve the donation, even if the National Women's League is later recognized as a KMT affiliated organization, because the donation is made to the government.
