Three Tainan Men Killed in Cambodia 柬埔寨3台人遭槍殺 警方證實為台南人

Three Taiwanese people were shot to death in a Phnom Penh apartment on the night of Aug. 28 in Cambodia. According to Tainan police, the three were all from Tainan and all three had been previously convicted of organized crime and fraud in Taiwan. 

These crime scene photos, along with the victims' names, went viral on the night of the 28th. The three Taiwanese men were shot to death in a Cambodian apartment. A friend of two of the victims called on the government to investigate.

Mr. Hsu, Friend of Victims: “They just said they were going there to work. I was shocked when I heard. Yeh went first. No one knows what to do right now. That's why I hope the government can do something and work with the police in Cambodia.”

According to the police, the third victim, surnamed Lin, was only in Cambodia two-plus weeks before he was killed. The families of the victims don't want to talk to the media, but Gueiren police have confirmed all three were Tainan residents with criminal records. Police had visited with the Yeh and Cheng families recently after finding out they were in Cambodia and were told by the two families that they were there for work and hadn't been scammed.

Chiu Hsien-liang, Captain, Tainan Gueiren Precinct: “Their families said they don't know what they were doing in Cambodia. The two men (surnamed Yeh and Cheng) are not wanted on any criminal charges in Tainan. We will proceed in accordance with regulations.”

The victims' families have filed reports with the local police, who have contacted the Criminal Investigation Bureau, prosecutors and Ministry of Foreign Affairs for assistance.
 

網路上幾張血淋淋的照片，28日晚間不斷被轉發，內容也寫著3名台灣人在柬埔寨金邊一間公寓被槍殺身亡，甚至連姓氏都被爆料出來，其中從小看著葉姓死者以及程姓死者的友人，今（29）日一早也出面表示，希望政府協助調查。

死者友人徐先生說：「說要過去工作而已，我聽到時，還在茫茫然，算是葉姓死者之前就先過去了，現在也不知道（怎麼處理），就是不知道才想說，希望政府能夠關注這件事，插手去給柬埔寨警方去查看看。」

根據警方調查，另一名林姓死者10日才前往柬埔寨，但才短短10幾天就被槍殺，消息傳回台南東區老家，家屬低調不受訪。歸仁警方表示，這3名死者的確都是台南人，3人都曾有前科，近日連傳柬埔寨豬仔事件，警方也曾到葉、程家探訪，但家屬則堅稱沒有被騙，直到網路流傳槍殺照，才驚覺出事。

南市歸仁分局分局長邱顯良表示：「家屬表示不清楚到柬埔寨做的工作內容，經查這兩名男子，在本轄並沒有案件，目前也沒有通緝，我們依規定來受理報案。」

歸仁分局進一步表示，本案已受理家屬報案，同時關懷協助家屬，另外也已通報刑事警察局，請示檢察官指揮後續的偵查作為，也聯繫外交部辦理後續事宜。
