Graduation ceremonies are being held at many public high schools and attendance restrictions have been lifted. Entertainer Xiao Bing attended his daughter's graduation at Taipei Jingmei Girls High School and said he feels lucky the restrictions were lifted and he didn't miss this important moment in his daughter's life.


Taipei Jingmei Girls High School class representatives and teachers put on a raucous dance performance as the graduating class hoots and hollers.

I'll miss many of the experiences I won't be able to get elsewhere, like club activities and activities put together by teachers.

I hope my English can improve, and then I hope I can quickly find my passion in life.

The graduating class of 700 and close to 700 family members shared laughter and tears during the ceremony. With epidemic restrictions being lifted, graduates were allowed two guests each at the ceremony. There were still temperature checks at the door and attendees were asked to fill out health declarations.

We're also taking real-name registration. We used Google Forms to compile a list of attendees beforehand.

Entertainer Xiao Bing was very emotional about attending his daughter's graduation and said he came prepared with two packs of tissues.

I already cried once just now. I'm very emotional thinking about how it seems like just yesterday that I was holding her in my arms and now she's a high school graduate.

He says he has attended every one of his daughter's graduation ceremonies so far and feels fortunate the restrictions were lifted in time.



畢業班各班代表和科任老師一起熱舞，台下畢業生們尖叫不停，景美女中畢業典禮有夠嗨。

北市景美女中畢業生表示：「有很多在外面體驗不到的經驗，像是社團，還有一些老師會自己舉辦的活動之類的，這是以後都會懷念起的。」

北市景美女中畢業生表示：「可能希望自己英文變好一點，可以精進一下英文的部分，然後早日找到自己的夢想。」

有歡笑、有淚水，七百名畢業生和近七百位家屬，一起分享感動。而原本畢典要採線上直播，幸好疫情趨緩才恢復，每位畢業生可入內的家人，也從一人放寬到兩人，但還是得量體溫，填自主健康聲明書。

北市景美女中校長 黃贇瑾表示：「而且我們是實名制，事先我們就用Google表單，知道哪個家長會來。」

藝人小炳也坐在家長席，想到獨力拉拔的女兒將邁入人生新階段，心情有些複雜，說是帶了兩包衛生紙，要好好哭一下。

畢業生家長 小炳表示：「剛剛已經哭過一輪了，抱在懷裡，然後這樣一路成長到大，到畢業這樣，就心中會很激動。」

女兒從小的畢典從沒缺席，小炳慶幸疫情趨緩，才能親自見證！而對校方和畢業生來說，下學期碰上疫情，學習生活都受影響，畢典還差點辦不成，也是很特別的回憶。
