Lighted diabolos won best performance award / 後龍國小扯鈴隊 國際賽精湛演出獲殊榮　　　　　　　　　　

Last year in Malaysia, Miaoli County Houlong Elementary School won the 2015 Third International Diabolo Championship. This year in July they will take part in the 2016 Formosa International Diabolo Performance Festival. With the addition of martial arts, lighted diabolos and demanding technical moves they won delighted applause from the audience and the best performance award from the judges. These three students are working together on a move which draws gasps from the audience. Houlong Elementary School took part in the 2016 Formosa International Diabolo Performance Festival and won an award for best performance. They did almost make one slip though, during the performance. It was this right, left movement that looked as though it was about to fail, but they saved themselves at the last minute and so they had a perfect performance, beating international teams to the best performance award. ==LEE YI-KAI diabolo team member== We had a really hard time practicing before this competition so we were really happy when we heard the announcement. ==SU YI-WEN diabolo team member== This movement, the first time we did it, we didn't think we could get such good marks for it , but when we heard the marks we were really happy. Last year the school team won the 2015 Third International Diabolo Championship in Malaysia. The team added lighting and martial arts moves to their performance this year. They practiced hard for three months to achieve their winning performance. == Fu shi-ming, Coach, Houlong Elementary School== Twenty nine students performed and each one had to be very sure of all their movements. In the seven minute performance, in the performance one student made a mistake, because the diabolo if you are not attentive to it, for just one second, then you make a mistake. After winning the team haven't taken it easy. Even during the summer holiday, they come back to school to practice under the hot sun and want to keep their place at the top of the competition. TRANSLATED BY：CLARE LEAR 這個三人合作的高難度動作，獲得現場觀眾的歡呼，苗栗縣後龍國小扯鈴隊，參加FORMOSA國際扯鈴大賽表演藝術賽，接連的高難度動作，讓全場喝采，但表演中差一點出現失誤。 就是這左右對拋的動作，原本眼看就要失誤，但硬是被救了回來，最後以零失誤的精湛演出，擊敗各國好手，成功拿下公開組「最有價值表演」的殊榮。 ==後龍國小扯鈴隊員 李翊愷== 在這次比賽前 練習時非常的辛苦 所以在聽到這個消息後 非常的開心 ==後龍國小扯鈴隊員 蘇乙雯== （比賽動作）第一次做 本來覺得成績 沒辦法那麼好 但是一聽到成績 非常的開心 後龍國小去年在馬來西亞獲得世界扯鈴冠軍，今年再加入武術、燈光鈴，苦練三個月參賽，在這個月再度拿到國際賽大獎。 ==後龍扯鈴隊教練 傅仕銘== 有29位的孩子在場上演出 每位孩子都必須要保持 非常專注的去做 這七分多鐘的演出 有一個孩子 他只要一個閃失 因為扯鈴這個東西 你只要稍微一分心的話 它就很容易失誤 獲獎後，後龍國小扯鈴隊並沒有鬆懈，放暑假還是要回學校，頂著大太陽繼續練習，希望在表演能有更上層樓的突破，也期望繼續留住世界冠軍的頭銜。 記者 邱植培 賴世杰 苗栗報導
