RUSSIA AND CHINA URGE NORTH KOREA TO BE SELF-RESTRAINED|中俄籲北韓凍結核武 要求美韓停止軍演

Since the start of this year, North Korea has run 10 rounds of missile tests, and we're only in July. Responses from key countries have been rather different. South Korea and the Unites States launched joint military drills to counterweigh Pyongyang's aggression. As for Russia and China, it is true they have asked North Korea to exercise self-restraint, but they also took the opportunity to tell South Korea and the US to calm it down. The U.S. and South Korea had a joint missile drill at the eastern coast of the Korean Peninsula. South Korean military fired Hyunmoon Missile II, and the U.S. fired Multiple Launch Rocket System. NHK reported that the drill was at the request of South Korean President Moon Jae-in, aiming to demonstrate joint forces' precision targeting capability to North Korea. Chinese President Xi Jin-ping pays his two-day visit to Moscow, Xi and Russian President Putin signed bilateral trade deals, the two leaders believe that the U.S. and South Korea should stop large-scale joint military exercise, and act in accordance for stabilizing Korean Peninsula. ==VLADIMIR PUTIN Russian President== Among joint international priorities we have a complex resolution of problems on the Korean peninsula in order to secure lasting peace and stability in Northeast Asia.
