DRUGS FOUND AT TAICHUNG AIR BASE, ALL PERSONNEL TESTED |清泉崗拾獲27袋毒品 2千官士兵全驗尿

After 27 packages of what is suspected to be drugs were discovered at a Taichung military air base two days ago, the investigation has been underway to determine who possessed those drugs, and urine tests had been given to more than 2000 servicemen at the base. So far, all personnel have been cleared of drug use, including a dozen soldiers who previously tested positive. The focus of the investigation will now be on how the drugs ended up at the base, and who put it there. During the routine check at the Ching Chuan Kang Air Force Base in Taichung, military officers found 27 bags of narcotic amphetamine and ketamine left at vehicle passage. ==SHIH SHENG-TE Directorate of Political Warfare, ROCAF 427th TFW== The main officers from every unit in the base will conduct urine screening. All soldiers from the 427th Tactical Fighter Wing including personnel of this same camp and other complementary units, have to complete this one-time urine screening. The scene has no surveillance camera, therefore the base commander decided to conduct screening on urine samples. Our prosecutors have not yet received the report of the second analysis. Therefore up till now, our office has no way to eliminate all possibilities. The ROC Air Force stated the military runways and facilities have not shared with civil airlines. In addition, the base is a restricted area, no one enters without permission. The air force will investigate whether there is a drug dealer in the military.
