ISRAEL ACCUSES PALESTINE OF WILDFIRE ARSON|以色列野火延燒耶城近郊 大批民眾避難

On Sunday, Israeli officials offered assurances that the wave of wildfires that swept across the country over the past six days had mostly come to an end, at least for the time being, but fresh blazes were later reported again in other parts of Israel. A U.S. supertanker fire fighting aircraft flew low over Jerusalem in effort of extinguishing wildfires. Some residents observed the scene by using binoculars. Most residents evacuated to safe points. A total of six foreign fire fighting aircrafts joined for the effort, plus 50 U.S. fire fighters were dispatched. This time, Israelis and Palestinians cooperated battling with the most serious wildfire in years. ==SHARON BITON, Colonel, Coordinator of Govt. Activities for Territories== The Palestinian firefighters fought shoulder- to-shoulder together with the Israeli firefighters with a joint target of saving people and homes. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu accused the wildfire an arson terror attack set by the Palestinians. Israeli police had arrested 22 suspects. According to Palestinian local media reports, the government never learned from the previous fire fighting and wasted valuable budgets, which was the main cause to many wildfires. Israeli Prime Minister's accusation may cause another conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.
